Hunters point of view:
Damian had promised the little girl that I would check on her that night and I intended to keep that promise. She didn't give me a name but from my ease dropping on the police conversations I got her name. Samantha. She was cute little girl with olive skin tone and dark hair. Though the dark hair could have been from the blood, she at least had a chestnut hair color.

Damian didn't say a word why he promised her I would check on her but made sure I stopped bleeding before we did anything. He was arrogant sometimes but when he worried he showed his sensitive nature.

He followed me from where we sat on the roof a little after I left. His face was cold while his shield up, but his eyes were soft as he thought. He almost looked reminiscent if I didn't know him better. He lost the kind look as he checked over my side which had already healed. I barely reacted to the pain from his poking and prodding. It only would have worried him more. I reassured him I was fine despite his skepticism and after he calmed from fluttering around and worrying, we met up with Batman deliver him the news.

They had apparently faired better with a silent infiltration than we did. The weapons apparently came from a secondary source but we don't know who bought them. The weapons were taken back to the batcave for safe keeping.

When I informed Damian's father and brother on our side of the mission, neither of which seem too annoyed with the outcome. He didn't praise us either though which I didn't expect he would but it would have been nice. He released us to go back to the batcave with a nod as him and Dick slipped into the shadows towards the batmobile.

Currently were now standing on the roof of a apartment building watching a second story window silently. Damian I could tell was bored but I couldn't go in yet, her grandmother who takes care of her hadn't left the room. I took the bear that the girl had given me out from my tool belt and smiled. It was cute and fluffy even if it was dirty.

Damian crouched on the ledge and looked around before he said "I doubt they will return for her or the other girls. Their is no reason for the adults to be so scared." I sighed before I said in response "They haven't seen her for three months I think the hovering is fine. I don't blame them." Damian looked at me confused before I said "I wish someone would have hovered over me to make sure I was safe and was relieved when I came home. This little girl is lucky, she has a loving family."

Damian looked away before he slipped his hand in mine. I looked over surprised but he wasn't looking at me but away. I tightened my grip before Damian mumbled almost inaudibly "You do have someone to worry about you, it just isn't worry from a parental unit." I smiled and said "I heard that."

He looked up his face which was almost a glare as he responded "It wasn't a secret that I worry about you. You are my partner and...and..." he lost his words for once and I had to smirk this time. I pulled my mask down so my hair was wild and free and I could breath unrestrained. I notice Damian had left the topic unanswered as he watched the window and movement inside the apartment.

I gently put my other hand on his cheek and titled his masked face towards me. While my mask covered my face typically his didn't and it showed his blush from lack of words. I said softly for only his ears "Damian I don't know if you know where this relationship is going cause I definitely don't. But you don't have to label it."

Damian looked up at me and I was completely calm but the mask over his eyes crinkled before he leaned forward. He took my cheek in his hand and his face softened to a smile before I gently pressed a kiss to my lips. It was gentle and smooth not at all like either of our personalities but it was nice. He pulled back after a few seconds and I smiled. He nodded to the apartment and said "Be careful. Don't get caught." I turned and saw the lights in the room had darkened.
