"Y/N are you ready for dinner?" Ag asked and I'm really nervous, I'm just not ready to face her parents.
I know that they're not the sweetest people you would meet or in other words you'd rather not meet them.
Ag and her parents' have a lot of misunderstandings but I know Ag still loves them and even if I'm super scared to meet them, I still will for Ag.
Ag's POV
Me and Y/N are having dinner with my parents' because I accidentally mentioned it to them while they were scolding me.
"Ag, what exactly happened after the party?" Y/N asked.
Flashback
After everyone got out of the house I had to make sure that Mia would drive Y/N to be sure that she's safe.
"Ag, we were gone for a business meeting and we come back home finding out that our daughter threw a party here without our permission" my mom started.
"I thought you guys were coming back tomorrow night"
"That's not the point here Ag, do you know how upset we are?" My dad asked.
"It's obvious, I'm not blind" I murmured to myself.
"I want you out of the basketball team" my dad said.
"But dad—"
"Your father is right" my mom said.
"But my grades are better now" I defended.
"That's not enough for what you did" my dad said.
"yeah my at least my girlfriend thinks I'm enough"
"What did you say?" My mom asked and I tried to walk away to avoid their questions but my dad stopped me.
"I wanna meet her" My dad said before he walked away.
End of flashback
Y/N's POV
"Ag are you sure about this?" I asked after she explained what happened, her parents' seem pretty upset and I've been feeling really unsure about meeting them.
"Well we're already here so there's no backing out but I do wanna say that Y/N I love you" Ag said as she held my hand before entering.
As soon as we entered, her parents' are already standing in front of us which made me really scared and all I wanna do is run out.
I felt my hand starting to get sweaty, "Mom, Dad, this is Y/N, my girlfriend" Ag spoke up.
"Nice meeting you" Ag's mom said with a smile but Ag's dad just looks serious.
"Let's have dinner?" Ag's dad asked as he lead the way to the dining room, Ag squeezed my hand while walking there.
Ag pulled out a seat for me to sit in before she sat beside me.
"You're name is Y/N right?" Ag's dad asked as we started eating. "Yes, Y/N Taylors" I said in response.
"Who are your parents? I might be familiar with them" Ag's dad asked.
"Dad, her parents doesn't own their own company" Ag said which made me nervous again.
"Well that's interesting, so what's their work?" Ag's mom asked.
"My dad is an accountant and my mom is.... in a mental hospital" I answered but I hesitated a little bit when I said my mom is in a mental hospital.
"How much does he earn?"
"Dad, you don't have to ask that" Ag spoke up.
"I mean I've heard that Paige's family has their own business now" Ag's mom said.
"If you guys can't accept my girlfriend, we're leaving" Ag said, she was about to stand up but her dad stopped her.
"Sit down will you"
"Ag, me and your dad thinks that maybe you're just not good for Y/N. You don't wanna drag her down do you?" Ag's mom asked.
"I'm not dragging her down" Ag said.
"Fine but you could have at least dated someone good for you image"
"Okay I've had enough" Ag said as she finally stood up.
"Me and your mom are just saying that you always settle for low class people" Ag's dad spoke up.
"Don't call Y/N a low class because with your attitudes, I think you'd make a good low class" Ag said.
"Ag you know that me and your dad will be choosing who you'll marry" Ag's mom said, "so if I were you Ag, forget this relationship before you get too attached" Ag's Dad added.
"With all due respect, Ag can love who ever she wants to love and Ag is doing great in school, she's doing her best and if you don't appreciate that it's not her fault" I said and Ag's parents didn't seem like they have anything to say
"Let's go" Ag said as she walked out of the dining room and I followed.
Ag is now driving me home but we've been silent ever since we left her house, I noticed she looks frustrated until now.
"Are you okay?" I asked and Ag only nodded.
"I'm sorry if I had to speak up to your parents"
"You don't have to be sorry about it, I am thankful that you defended me" Ag said which made me smile.
Ag pulled up at the side and looked at me to say, "I want you to remember that nothing will ever break us apart"
