Chapter 19: 𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝓂𝑜𝓂

Ag groaned as I got off of her, "why?" She asked.

"Ag we can do this after I get back but I need to go to Linda" I said as picked up our clothes from the floor.

Ag quickly sat up and asked, "what do you feel about it though?"

"About what?"

"About Linda being your mom" Ag said and it's also the question that's been going around my head all night.

It hurts because they kept it from me all a long and I grew up with a crazy mother and no wonder why she always treats Lizzie better than she ever will to me, it's because I'm not her daughter.

Why did they pretend though? Why did Linda give me to her sister? To her horrible sister. All my life I wanted to hate on Lilian but couldn't because I try to keep in mind that she's still my mother.

Now I could finally say that I hate her for everything she put me through. And I finally understand why Linda has been treating me like I'm her daughter because I am.

I snapped back to reality when I realized Ag was waving her hand in front of my face.

"Sorry"

"Look I'm just here for you if you need someone to talk to" Ag said as she hugged me from my back.

Ag left right after Linda got here. "How are you?" Linda asked with a smile.

"I'm fine, let's talk in my room?"

She nodded and followed me. "Why didn't you tell me? And why did you give me to your sister?"

"I was young when I had you, I asked Lilian to take care of you but she wouldn't accept you, great thing Mark convinced Lilian" she started.

"We kept this from you because Mark said that if he and Lilian would adopt you, he doesn't want let you know about the truth"

"And you were fine with that?" I asked.

"I just thought you had a good life with them and you have a complete family" she answered.

"You think I had a good life? You think we were a complete family? They were a complete family, no wonder I always feel like there's something missing. Lilian never treated me like her daughter and at the times I needed a mom I never had one, how do you call that happy?"

"I'm sorry" she said as tears started flowing down her cheek.

"It's okay, I know you'd be a much better mom that Lilian will ever be" I said as I held her hand which made her smile.

"She's still my sister you know"

"Mhm but let's not talk about Lilian anymore, please?" I asked and she nodded and pulled me in for a hug.

"Tell me about your girlfriend" Lilian said as she handed me the popcorn. We both decided to watch a movie while waiting for my dad to come home.

"She's great, she was there for me when I needed someone" I said, "should I start calling you mom?" I asked and she smiled.

"It's up to you"

"You know I've always wanted to do this with a mom, watch and have girl talk"

"Now you can" she said which made me smile.

"Please don't give me away again"

"I won't" she said and hugged me.
