008 "of course not bebe" !

Jules was nervously tapping her foot on the ground while waiting for the nurse to call her name. The hospital was pretty much empty, which was unusual for a Saturday night in LA.
Avani absently kept refreshing her instagram feed to keep herself distracted. suddenly a noise was heard in the waiting room.

"Julia Bryant, room number 5" a feminine voice stated in the speakers.

Jules and her best friend quickly looked at each other, and Avani softly grabbed her hand, to reassure her.

Jules's palms were sweaty and she felt light headed. she still tried to convince herself that there was nothing to worry about even though she didn't even believe it herself.

she quickly sent a text to Jaden, telling him that she was going in, and turned off her phone.

"do you need me to come in with you?" Avani told the girl with an empathic expression.

Jules hesitated for a moment, not wanting to be a burden to avani, but she also remembered that her friend drove her and waited with her for 2 hours in the waiting room with her. she had came this far, so she probably wouldn't mind. she still asked to be sure

"you don't mind, right?"

"of course not bebe, i'll do anything to make you feel better" her best friend answered, a reassuring smile on her face.

"then let's go" Jules sighed. she really wasn't excited about this.

...

"hi, i'm doctor Garcia, you can take a seat" The woman pointed to a chair, right in front of her desk. Jules quickly looked at doctor Garcia's face, in shock. She was really young, and so pretty. her long brown hair in a ponytail complimented perfectly her tan skin.

"So you are... Jules Bryant right?"

The doctor quickly looked at her computer to make sure she had the right name.

"yea" Jules answered, pressing her palms into her things.

"and you?" The woman looked at Avani.

"oh hi, i'm avani, i'm just here as a moral support" Jules' friend let out with a small laugh

"okay so, what's wrong Jules" Doctor Garcia tapped on the keyboard.

"well, i haven't been feeling good lately"

"what do you mean by that?" Garcia questioned

"really bad headaches, i'm also dizzy a lot in the morning, my vision is kinda blurred sometimes. i also threw up this morning" Jules cited her symptoms, trying not to sound over dramatic.
but by the look on the woman's face, it didn't sound really good.

"can you tell me where your heads hurts exactly?" Doctor Garcia asked, trying not to worry the younger girl by keeping her calm

Jules pointed to the left side of the back of her head.

"Okay, so those symptoms are worrying me a bit, Jules, so i think we're gonna do a Cranial CT scan of your head, if it works for you"

Jules' face went pale at the terms the woman in front of her used. avani's grip on the girls hand tightened.

"no um, yeah it-it's fine" Jules stuttered, her head filling with ideas of the worst case scenarios.

"okay then" The doctor got out of her chair. "follow me"
