027 "nothing can stop me" !

as soon as she got griffin's location, jules got up from her bed to rapidly put on some clean clothes. after choosing a pair of joggers and a tank top she grabbed her keys from her bedside table and headed outside her room into the kitchen

she grabbed an apple from the bowl on her kitchen counter. avant got out of her room wondering why jules was making so much noise this early.

"hi?" avant asked in a confused tone, her sleepy eyelids barely holding in place.

"hi did you check your phone at all this morning?" jules asked in a cautious tone, to avoid startling her.

"no? what's up" she quickly opened her phone with her face id before jules snatched it from her hands.

"hey what are you doing?"

"you should sit down"

avani didn't argue any further as she took a seat on the nearest stool, giving jules a weird look.

"why are you acting so weird?"

"so the boys went to texas for a road trip and two of them got arrested for possession and use of illegal drugs and they have no one to bail them out so griffin asked me and i have no clue why i said yes but i did because one of them is jaden and i'm fucking worried"

"woah" was all the brunette first said, considering the amount of informations she had to process this early a friday morning. but soon enough a panicked look took ever her pretty features.

"it's not anthony is it? he doesn't do drugs jules it can't be him"

"it's bryce don't worry"

"are you going there right now? does addison know? how far away is it"

" yes i am, i don't know i haven't heard from her and it's 20 hours away so i don't know what to do"

"can you buy plane tickets?"

jules pulled out her macbook from the counter and swiftly tapped on the keyboard.

"yes i can, it'd be 3 hours"

"well it's obviously better jules"

"yeah i'll do that"

"wait you're gonna buy one for me too right?"

"you're coming?"

"well you're obviously not going alone jules"

"you're gonna need one for me too"

both girl turned around, startled by addison who had just barged into their apartment.

"of course"

"how did you get in?" avani asked, confused

"i know about the key under the mat, not a smart move by the way"

both girls didn't ask further questions as jules bought the plane tickets.

she closed her laptop and looked at her friends with a small smile.

"i hope you guys are ready because we're going to texas"

"wait jules are you gonna be okay? you know with you being sick and all that stuff?" avani looked at jules with worry before she replied.

"if it's for jaden, then nothing can stop me"
