028"i bailed you out" !

after the girl's plane landed, they exited the airport in a hurry, taking a rental car to make their way to griffin's location.

Jules' hands were extremely shaky and weak as she was dreading to see jaden again.
would he lash out at her?
would he be relieved? happy?
all sorts of thoughts betraying the calm
state she used to be in.

she brushed her hand bethrough her hair, in a hectic way, as she blew air out of her mouth.

she had a check with the required amount of money on it. even though it was an expensive sum, it's not like she cared.

they soon got to the police station. jules jumped out of the car in a hurry quickly followed by her friends.

they spotted a familiar suv in the parking lot and sprinted this way. griffin and anthony were laying in the front seats, both windows opened, in a deep slumber, due to their lack of sleep.

"ant!"

they both woke up, jolting with fear at avani's voice. anthony's face soon washed over with
relief and opened his door to hug the smaller girl

"hey" griffin greeted the girls with a morning voice.

"can we go inside" jules wasn't in the mood for waiting as she took front and made her way to the front door of the office.

after the papers were signed and the money was given, the two officers freed the boys while the others were waiting outside.

jules was biting the inside of her cheeks with anxiousness while addison played with her nails.

how would jaden react when he saw that she was here to pick him up instead of madison.

would he lash at her?

after all, he told her he never wanted to see her again.

did he even mean that?

her thoughts were interrupted when two all familiar figures exited the grey building.

but only one mattered.

he didn't see her at first, when he hugged griffin, then ant.

he turned around, wearing a smile that fitted him so well. probably expecting to see mads.

but instead, he saw her.

his grin quickly fell as a look of concern appeared on the other boys' face.

"what are you doing here" he said in a nothing but annoyed voice

"i bailed you out" jules answered, keeping her gaze low.

"why?"

"why not?" she looked at him in the eyes, regaining her confidence.

"mads could've done it, so why did you have to get involved in this." jaden got closer and closer to the girl, in an intimidating manner.

"guys lets go for a minute" bryce said quietly to the rest of the group as they all sent worried looks at the pair.

"well believe it or not, mads is not here."

"why"

"she hasn't picked up the phone in hours, so they called me instead"

"why did you come ?"

"because i love you jaden" jules said truthfully, looking at him dead in the eyes"

"how am i supposed to believe that"

"do you actually think i don't love you?"

"if you actually loved me then why did you cheat?" jaden asked as his eyes got shiny with tears.

" i never cheated on you"

"how am i supposed to believe that"

"have i ever lied to you"

to julia's surprise, jaden engulfed her into a bear hug. she felt hot tears prick her eyes as she wrapped her arms around the boy she never wanted to let go in the first place. the only guy who has ever made her stomach explode with fireworks, made her genuinely happy.

and they stayed like this for what felt like hours.

in the empty parking lot

just the two of them

scared to lose each other again
