*ON HOLD* Hermione Zabini?

Kate Pov:

She waited for the hurtful names and the mudblood comments, but what she wasn't ready for was what happened next.

The whole common room filled with cheers and clapping, Kate jumped slightly and grabbed Draco's arm.  "You're here!" "The brightest witch of our age is in Slytherin!" "We've waited so long for you!"

She looked at Draco, and he just smiled and chuckled at her reaction. "C'mon. Let's go find Blaise."

"Okay." she smiled at the Slytherin's as she passed them. They kept cheering and clapping for her as if she just caught the snitch for the house cup game. The only person who wasn't clapping was Blaise, who was sitting in a chair, staring out the window at the black lake.

"Blaise, are you okay?" Kate asked quietly, putting her hand on her brother's shoulder. Draco stood behind her.

"Mmhm." he kept looking out the window, there was something in his eye but she couldn't figure out what it was.

"Blaise. You haven't said a thing  since we found- the wall. I'm okay Blaise, I'm going to be fine. Please just tell me if you are okay."

"I'm scared Kate. I just got you back, and now I might lose you again. And now our whole family is in danger! We're basically blood traitors, we lied to you-know-who about you! I lied! I knew who you were the whole time, and I didn't say anything!" she pulled him into a hug, and he just broke down and was crying into her shoulder.

"Blaise, it's going to be okay! Mum and dad are going to be safe, we'll send them an owl to them to tell them what happened." she said, rubbing his back.

"Merlin, I'm sorry. I need to be the strong one. You shouldn't have to comfort your big brother." he said as he pulled away, whipping his tears.

"Big brother? Are you sure you were born first?" She asked raising an eyebrow. 

"Uh, I think so." he laughed, hugging his sister, "I guess we'll have to ask mum and dad."

"But it's okay to cry Blaise."

"I know, but I should be the one comforting you after a break up or something."

"Oh, so now you want me to date someone?" she raised an eyebrow, laughing.

"No! But I'm just saying that, well, I don't know. You know what I mean though, right?"

"Yeah, I know what you mean Blaise." she gave her brother another hug and let go when she heard Draco cough behind her.

"Can I help you Malfoy?" she raised an eyebrow. He just stood there, rubbing his neck. "Oh come here, join the hug." she pulled him into the hug and smiled.

The Slytherins were very nice to her, and she made friends with most of her former bullies. Astoria Greengrass and Theo Nott were the first to apologize, "Her- Kate, we are so sorry for bullying you all these years. We aren't proud of what we did, and we completely understand if you don't forgive us and hate us, we really do deserve it. But the only reason we bullied you, was because that's how we were raised. We really are sorry. I hope you can forgive us, and I really mean it when I say I want to get to know you. I always have, I just couldn't because if I did, my parents wouldn't be happy and I didn't want you to get hurt." Astoria looked up at Kate, you could see the regret and sensernes in her eyes.

"Of course Astoria! I forgive you, and I would love to get to know you too." She smiled and gave her new friends a hug, "You to Theo." she pulled him into the hug and before she knew it, Blaise Draco, Goyle, and even Pansy, all of her former bullies, were surrounding her in a large hug.
