*ON HOLD* Hermione Zabini?

McGonagall's Office

Draco Pov:

"Hey Goyle, did you send that love letter to McLaggen yet?"

"Yeah, I used a school owl, he should be getting it about now."

They all turned to watch McLaggen open the letter. He read it aloud but stopped abruptly in the middle. They heard Dean and Seamus yelling for him to keep reading it. When he didn't Seamus grabbed the letter forcefully and read it aloud. Starting from the beginning so the whole hall -those who came to breakfast- could hear.

'My Dearest Connor,

Your absolutely gorgeous. Your so tall and muscular, I love your jawline and the way your hair falls in your eyes after a game of quidditch. Your smile melts my heart, and makes me hard. I wish I could hold you in my arms, but alas, it can't be. For I am in a different house from you, and it would be hard to keep our relationship on the down-low. Unless you want the whole world to know as do I.

My heart belongs to you forever and always. ~Your secret admirer.'

Seamus then yelled, "So, who's the lucky man McLaggen?" Dean, Neville, Harry, Ron, Ginny, and the whole Gryffindor table broke out into a laughing fit. Causing McLaggen to turn a deep red, almost as dark as the color of the Gryffindor pin he wore on his pristen robes.

Draco smirked when McLaggen stormed out of the hallway. "Nice one Goyle."

"Well, we have Kate to thank for coming up with that dare." Goyle grunted, stuffing more porridge into his already full mouth.

"Ew, gross Goyle! At least finish chewing before stuffing more food into your mouth!" Tori yelled, slapping his arm from across the table.

"Sorry." he mumbled, swallowing the food.

"I'm going to go get the others so we can talk to Headmistress McGoanagall about the writing on the wall." Kate proclaimed as she stood up from the table and walked over to were Harry, Ron, Ginny, Neville, Dean, and Seamus were sitting. Draco smiled as he watched her walk away. She walked as if she had somewhere to be, and most of the time she did.

"You heard the boss. Get up, let's go." Draco said as he stood up from the cold bench. The others soon followed suit, Goyle grabbing another muffin and stuffing it in his face. The others waited at the door while Draco started over to Kate. As he walked up behind her, he slipped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on the top of her bushy head of hair. He chuckled when she jumped slightly. "Calm down princess, it's just me. Let's go to McGonagall's office now, shall we?" he asked, offering her his arm.

She playfully sapped his arm, "Yes, let's go. Neville, can you go get Luna? We'll meet you two at the Gargoyle. We won't go up without you." she smiled as Neville nodded and walked over to get Luna.

"Let's go." Ginny said as she grabbed Kate's hand and pulled her away from the others and practically dragged her to the doors.

Harry and Draco talked about quidditch as they walked to catch up with Ginny and Kate. Dean and Seamus had already run ahead with Kate and Ginny. Ron sulked quietly behind them. Aw, is the poor weasel sad that he can't run back to Kate once he's tired of Lavender. Draco smirked at his thought, he continued to talk to Harry about the worst weather conditions for a seeker, since they both were seekers. He was glad he could finally talk to someone who understood the struggles of seeking -even if it was Potter- Blaise didn't understand since he was a chaser.

Before he knew it, he was standing in front of the large gargoyle statue, waiting for Longbottom. He smiled when he saw Kate, she had a big goofy grin on her face. He walked up and wrapped his arms around her waist once more, he leaned down to whisper in her ear. "Whatcha smiling at Granger?"

She turned her head, "Zabini."

"It'll be Malfoy soon." he smirked when she blushed hard, turning her head so he couldn't see her reaction. "Anyway, you never answered my question."

"Oh, I'm just happy that all of my friends are finally getting along. Both Slytherins and Gryffendor's. Even if Lavender has to be here." she sighed as she leaned back into his chest. He looked around, he didn't know Lavender was here. He quickly spotted her glued to the weasels arm.

Before he could respond, Luna's magical voice filled the hall, "What are we waiting for? The nargles will be here any minute if we don't hurry up."

Everyone laughed at Luna's comment, but not in a mean way. They quickly said the password, alway's. And walked up the stairs quickly. Kate stepped forward and knocked on the door to the headmistress's office. Mcgonagall quickly opened the door, a surprised look on her face when she saw the 15 teenagers standing outside her door.

"Miss. Zabini, may I ask what you're doing here today on this fine Saturday? Instead of at Hogsmeade?" she asked, although she already knew the answer.

"Well, Professor, we wanted to know if you found anything out about the, uh-"

"The writing on the wall." Draco finished for her, smirking when she blushed.

"Oh, yes that. Well, do come in, all of you." she motioned for them to follow her into the office. She sat down behind her desk, and with a graceful wave of her wand, she conjured up 15 chairs for them to sit in. "Well, none of the other professors nor ghosts noticed anyone walk out of the hall before you lot. But I have Professor Slughorn testing the substance that was on the wall. And don't worry, I have Flitwick double checking his work. I have told all the painting's to keep an eye out. But that is all I have for you now, so run along and go to Hogsmeade!" She waved her hand once more and the teenagers all fell to the floor as their chairs disappeared. She smiled as she looked down and started looking over paperwork.

"Okay Professor, have a good day." Kate said as she helped Draco and Blaise up from the floor. Tori helped up Goyle as Pansy helped up Theo. Harry was helping up Ginny, Dean and Seamus had already gotten up and were helping Ron and Lavender up. They all walked out the door and waited until they were outside.

"So, who wants to go to Hogsmeade?" Dean said with a chuckle.

"Sure, let's go." they said simultaneously.

"Alright, c'mon." Draco said as he made his way to Hogsmeade, the rest of the group not far behind.
