**I do not own any of these characters, they belong to J.K. Rowling, I am simply adding on and creating my own version of the story. The characters are not mine, but the plot is.**

***This book takes place after the war, Harry still wins, and those who dies in the war are still dead, so that mean no Dumbledore (I know he died before the war), no Fred or Tonks, or Lupin, etc. Teddy (Tonks and Lupin's son) is staying with the Weasley's until Harry is old enough to adopt him.***

"Hermione? Is that you dear?" Mrs. Granger asked, rubbing her eyes, trying to get her head to stop spinning.

"Yes, Mum. It's really me." Hermione respond to her mother tearing up. She turned to Kingsley, "Thank you for helping me find them. And for helping me restore their memories."

"Of course Hermione! I must warn you though, they might have trouble remembering small things sometimes."

"Okay, thank you again Kingsley." she said, giving him a hug before he apperated away.

"Hermione, can we go home now?" her father asked, slowly standing up, then helping his wife up.

"Oh! Yes, hold on, this may upset your stomach." she said, grabbing her mother and father's hand and apperating to their house. They landed in the living room, Mrs. Granger quickly sat down trying to stop her head from spinning. "Well, I guess I'll let you guys get settled. I'll be in my room if you need me." Hermione told them. She skipped up the stairs, happy to have them back.

"I think we should tell her dear." Mrs. Granger told her husband once Hermione was out of hearing range.

Mr. Granger sighed, rubbing his temples, "I know, but what if she hates us dear? And never talks to us again?"

"You know Hermione, she would never do that. And besides, we need too. I think her actual parents are going to want to see her now that the war is done and she's safe to be home."

"I know you're right, I just don't want to let her go. Gosh that sounds so selfish."

"No it doesn't dear! Of course your not going to want to let her go! You have raised her her whole life! But it's time she knew."

"Alright, we'll tell her at dinner-" he stopped abruptly when he saw an owl tapping gently at their window. He watched as his wife walked over to the owl and let it inside. It was stunning, it was a lite brown barn owl, with golden feather scattered around its body. Mrs. Granger took the letter that was attached to its leg, gave him a treat, they decided to keep a bowl of owl treats by the window since Hermione was always receiving letters via owl. They watched as it flew away. Mr. Granger gave his wife a questioning look as she opened the letter ot read aloud, since it was addressed to them.

'Dear Mr. and Mrs. Granger,

Thank you so much for raising and caring for our daughter as if she was your own. But now that the war is done and over with, we would like to know our daughter and have her apart of our family. If you have not already told her, my husband and I will be bringing our son, to meet his twin sister, tomorrow, we will arrive shortly after breakfast. If you already have plans and are unable for us to some, please send an owl back. If not, there is no need to send an owl. The glamour charm we placed on her should be coming off soon, if it wears off before we arrive, please tell her who she truly is. Katlyn May Zabini.

~Mrs. Zabini'

"Well, I guess we could wait for tomorrow to tell her."

"No, I think we should tell her as planned. So then she isn't completely clueless when they show up tomorrow."

"Alright dear. Lets get dinner ready, shall we?" Mr.s Granger asked, hugging his wife before walking into the kitchen to prepare for dinner.

---1 hour later, at  the dinner table---

"Hermione dar. Your father and I have something we need to tell you." Mrs. Granger said as she put one of her hands on top of one of Hermione's (she will be referred to as this until she wants to be referred to by her birth name).

"Okay, what is it?"

"Well, 17 years ago, we were visited by a scared couple. They didn't want their daughter to get hurt, so they gave her to us to look after until it was safe for her to return to her true family. Well, we got a letter an hour ago from that very couple. It's finally safe for their daughter to come home. Hermione, dear that daughter is you. Your real name is Katlyn May Zabini." Mr. Granger paused, waiting for her reaction.

"So, my whole life has been a lie?" she asked slowly, "And my real name is Katlyn May Zabini? Why was it too dangerous for me to live with them?"

"We don't know dear, but all will be explained tomorrow, your real parents and your twin brother are coming over after breakfast tomorrow." Mr.s Granger said, glad Hermione took all of this so well.

"Wait, did you say twin brother? Why don't I look like Blaise then, assuming he's my twin."

"Your parents put a glamour charm on you when you were given to us. It should wear off sometime today or when they arrive tomorrow-" Mrs. Granger stopped and watched in awe as Hermione's appearance changed completely. Her brown frizzy hair turned black and is now has natural beach waves, the length was still the same. Her dark chocolate eyes with gold flecks in them stayed the same. She was a couple inches taller now, her fair skin tanned not as dark as Blaise's skin though.

"I'm guessing the glamour charm just wore off judging from the looks you're giving me know." Hermione stated. Mr. and Mrs. Granger could only nod in response. Shocked by how different she looked. Hermione got up and walked to the bathroom to see what she now looked like. She gasped when she saw her new self in the mirror, she barely recognized herself. She quickly glanced at her arm, wondering if her scar was still there. She smiled brightly when she saw it was no longer there. She walked back out to the table at sat down, smiling at her adoptive parent's. "Thank you for telling me. I'm glad I found out like this and not a different way." she got up and hugged the two.

"Of course dear. You should get to bed, it's late and you're meeting your family tomorrow." Mrs. Granger said, after Hermione hugged her.

"Oh yeah. Well,  goodnight!" she said as she went upstairs to her room. Tomorrow, everything was going to be different.
