Chapter 12- Meet

After the embarrassing moment with Louis, I'm now here standing in front of my full body mirror. I've been looking for myself for about an hour na.

Before I go downstairs, I took a final glance to my outfit. Today's fashion is different. I didn't wear my signature black clothes because I think that is the curse in my cancelled dates.

I wore a pastel pink fitted dress partnered with white heels. I did not put a fierce make-up rather I put a kikay-style just like what they call it. I carry a Louis Vuitton small bag where I put my personal belongings like phone and cards.

This is not a date Lucy!

Shocks! Oo nga pala! I dressed wrong. This is not a date. We are going to buy things at the mall. Shit! Nakadress pa akong sasakay kay Hotdog? Ang laswa tingnan.

Nagmamadali akong bumalik sa walk-in closet ko para magpalit. I need to wear jeans and comfortable top and flatshoes. I was on the verge of removing my heels when my phone rang.

Ang malas ko pagdating sa mga date!

Paika-ika akong naglakad para sagutin ang tawag dahil natanggal ko ang isang heel at ang isa ay nakasuot pa. Bwisit.

It's already 9. Bakit saktong 9 siya tumawag? Hindi ba siya male-late?

"Hello, Louis"

"Captain, I'm here at the address you gave me. Is this really your house? It's a mansion. Di ka naman nababagay dito eh. May demonyo bang nakatira sa karangyaan?"

"Gago. Wait for me I'm still changing"

"Akala ko ba excited kang makasama ako?"

"In your dreams, late akong nagising"

"Kasi late ka natulog kagabi kasi iniisip mo'ko?"

"Alam mo, assuming ka! Wait nga"

"Sige. Bilisan mo"

Dali-dali akong kumuha ng jeans at plain na pastel blue top. I also got my new Gucci shoes. I just tied my hair into a messy bun kasi nagmamadali na ako. I don't want my self-proclaimed date to be delayed- again. Hindi ko na pinalitan ang bag na bitbit ko.

I got my phone then I ran fast. Nagulat ako kasi nasa baba sina Mommy at Daddy. They are eating. Wala naman sila kaninang nag jogging ako ah? Kararating lang nila?

"Where are you going, Lu?"

"At the mall, dad"

"This early? Hindi pa bukas ang mall"

What?

"It's traffic. I will probably be there at 10"

"Okay, call your driver"

"D-dad"

"Sir, may naghihintay po sa labas. Hinihintay daw po si Miss Lucy. Nakamotor po siya sir."

Patay na! This maid is going to die! Hintayin mong umalis sina Daddy, I'm gonna fire you!

"Sino?"

"Ferry Louis daw po, Sir"

"Papasukin mo"
