Chapter 13- Louis' Baby

The drive going to the mall is the longest one hour or my life. I'm seating on the shotgun seat of Daddy' s car while Louis is focused at holding the steering wheel but sometimes he's teasing me. I remained silent because of embarrassment and I don't want to make the conversation long. I tried to act like I don't care. I just can't believe how he easily got my Father's trust. He even offered this God damn car to Louis while I am begging him to drive this car for a long time but Dad always says No.

Kasi nga basta matalino, ibibigay niya ang lahat.

I am badly jealous but I don't know why I can't stay mad at him. There's this feeling inside me that I'm happy that he got my Father's trust which happens least of the time. My dad do not trust easily.

Why am I feeling thankful na hindi siya ginisa ni Daddy? Do I like him? Hell, no!

Siguro, it's just overwhelming na may isang taong kilala ko na hindi nakaranas ng pagkastrikto ni Daddy. That's it. Period.

"Captain, are you done daydreaming of me?"

"What are you saying?", I remained calm. I don't wanna show my defeat in his teasing. I need to act normal even though I'm fuming mad inside.

Nasanay na ako sa ugali. He's been doing it since day one. Palagi siyang nag-a-assume na gusto ko siya kahit alam kong biro niya lang iyon.

"Kanina pa tayo nakarating. We've been parking here for about 20 minutes already."

"What?" Gano'n na ba ako kalutang? What is happening?

"Hindi sana kita kukulitin muna pero nakita kong tumulo ang laway mo eh. Yucky, Lucy."

Agad ko namang pinunasan ang bibig ko at oo nga, may laway. Nakakahiya!

Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko. Kung magsosorry ba, magtataray o lalabas na lang sa kotse.

Tama, lalabas na lang ako.

Dali kong binuksan ang pinto ng kotse at agad lumabas. Para na akong tumatakbo sa bilis ng paglakad ko.

"Captain, hintay!" Rinig kong sigaw niya. Hinihingal na siya sa paghabol sa akin.

Dahil ayaw kong mag-eskandalo sa maraming tao, binagalan ko ang paglakad ko at hinintay siya.

"Bakit ka ba nagmamadali? Nahihiya ka ba kasi tumulo ang laway mo? Sinabi ko lang naman  sa'yo kasi ayokong may ibang makakakita sa pesteng laway na iyan. Hahayaan ba kitang pagtawanan ng iba? Hell,no!!"

I remained silent looking at him. No, scratch that, staring at him. I can't believe he said those words. His voice is calm but I know he's irritated and that makes the butterflies in my stomach playfully go around. The heck!

When our eyes locked, all I can think is how handsome this creature is. His tousled hair is perfect. I started to stare each part of his face. His lambent brown eyes, his proud and pointed nose, his sinful thin and kissable lips plus his stubborn jawline. This man is shouting for gorgeousness.

How can I runaway with a perfect guy?

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a crush on him. I'm just admiring how beautiful offspring he is.

Shit! This is not healthy anymore, Lucy!

U-uh Lucy, I'm s-sorry if I offended you. Sana pala 'di ko na lang sinabi. Sorry ulit," he broke the staring contest.

"It's okay, Louis. Sorry rin kasi pinahabol kita. You don't need to apologize kasi what you did is in favor with me"

"Oo nga pala Louis, may plano ka na ba sa bahay natin?"

"B-bahay n-natin?", Ano bang nangyari at nagkanda-utal-utal itong taong 'to.

"Oo, bahay natin. Our future house"

Saka ko lang na-realize ang sinabi ko noong peke siyang umubo. He's back again in teasing!

"I mean, our project. Diba future house iyon? We're partners therefore that is our future house miniature"

"Talaga ba, Lucy?"

"Oo nga kasi. Oh ano, do you have a plan already?"

"Yeah, I wrote my ideas on my notes. Let's go to the McDo para pag-usapan."

"Bakit sa Mcdo? Ang ingay don!", Reklamo ko. Magkakaintindihan ba kami sa mataong lugar? This is our future house project that we are talking about.

"Kasi, tentenententen Love ko 'to", panggaya niya sa signature jingle ng Mcdo sabay turo saakin noong binanggit niya ang "Love ko 'to".

Haysst. Siraulo!

"Sa Starbucks na lang tayo.", sabi ko na parang nagpapaawa

"Ayoko."

"Sige na"

"A-yo-ko"

"Bakit ba ayaw mo!!"

"Eh kasi naaalala ko kung paano mong sinaktan ang junjun ko! Masaya ka na?"

"Gusto mo bang tuhurin ko na naman iyan ngayon? Dito mismo kung saan maraming makakakita!"

"Huwag! Tayo na!!" Sabay hila niya sa'kin patungo sa Starbucks.

Now it's my turn to roast you, Louis.

"Tayo na talaga, Louis?", I said playfully while he's still pulling me.

His face turned red! Ayan nga Louis, taste your own blood. You know what I feel whenever you do that!

"Huwag mo'kong hilain, babe. Sasama naman ako sa'yo eh" medyo nilakasan ko ang pagbigkas nito at alam kong marami na ang nakatingin sa amin.

"Stop pulling be babe, or else I will kiss you!"

Wala siyang imik. Patuloy pa rin siya sa paghila sa akin hanggang sa nakarating kami sa Starbucks. We sat on a table for two, facing each other and there I can see his ears turned into red.

Hahahaha! You're such a cute ass, Louis.

"Order na'ko. Anong gusto mo?" alam kong nahihiya pa rin siya.

Continue Lucy!

"Hindi binebenta ng Starbucks ang gusto ko"

"Eh bakit dito mo gusto pumunta! Jusko naman, Lucy"

His reaction is funny. He is very irritated and shy. How adorable!

"Eh binebenta ka ba dito? Ikaw ang gusto ko, Louis" , I tried not to laugh on his reaction.

Hindi niya ako pinansin then he immediately went to the counter to order. Minutes passed then I hear his name being called.

"Iced coffee for Louis"

"Iced coffee for Louis' Baby"

I don't really assume but I know that the girl is referring to me!

"Baby ko daw, kunin mo na ang Iced coffee mo"
