Chapter 20

After changing, I'm ready for my afternoon lessons to try to change my mind. Classes are rather finished today, I take the opportunity to go see Miguel at his house, I already warned him of what happened this morning when I came back to my room. 

Around noon I arrive in his apartment. I ring when he opens the door for me, I jump into his arms with a few tears that flowed during the journey. I move away from him and say : I am very afraid of my father, even this I said that, he will not stop until he has what he wants ! Look at me, I don't worry, nobody will separate us, I promise you, he said, looking at me straight before kissing me. 

We enter the living room and sit on a large sofa. And I said, wiping away my tears : I said that I'm in love with you, that I don't want to marry Anisse but he won't listen to me ! Look, you are my sun, my light, my life. You are the best thing that ever happened to me in life, I can't live without seeing your eyes, your smile and your kisses. Basically, I'm unable to live without you. We're both going to fight for our love and won't let anyone spoil it, he said grabbing my cheeks with his fingers. 

With that, I turn my gaze, with a sad face on my face, and I say : I would love so much but you don't know my father, he is possessive. He is a man of power, he will not stop until he goes what he wants. I understand, but you can't already forfeit when we haven't started beating us yet, my sunshine, he said, turning back to him. Okay, I'll try again for you and for us, I said before giving her a soft kiss on the lips.

When I turn my head for a few seconds and turn to him, I see him dip a hand on the pocket of his pants to bring out a case. He smiles when he sees my head a meter long. And said : I know this is not the time but it is since the first time, that you gave yourself to me that I wanted to ask you that. In short, I want to be the only one who can kiss you for the rest of my life. There are so many things that I would like to live with you and one of them is to put this ring on your finger. 

He joins the action to the word. I see, on my left ring finger, a ring surmounted by a white stone shining. I open my mouth to close it immediately. He's just gorgeous and I can't find the right words to let him know. Understanding my lack of reaction, he runs a hand over one cheek : Miss Kaylee Akhrif, will you marry me ? Hmm ... normally you should have a knee on the ground and that's after you pass me, I said smiling. I know my sun, but accept first and I will bow to you as you wish, he laughed. So it's yes, and a thousand times, yes my darling.

 And it is with a smile that he takes me and finally puts one knee on the ground to kiss my two hands : Here I am at your feet my princess ! I jump on him giving him thousands of kisses on the lips saying : I love you Miguel Santos, you don't know how much ! I love you too my love, he said kissing me. 

After several hours spent with my darling, I finally return to my building, crossing my fingers that my father and Anisse are gone. 

When I get back to my room, I realize that it is, but it is dark. I have the impression that Mara did not come back when I decided to turn on light in my room. I'm surprised that Julie, Laura and Mara are there. 

They approach me and say : Surprise ! Miguel told you, I said, happy. No Adrien, I remind you that he is his best friend. Good short, congratulations my beautiful ! Said Laura, taking me in her arms. Thank you, I've been here for months now, and I already find myself engaged, I laughed. In addition, with the man you love. It's crazy ! Said Mara, joining us. Yes, I'm so happy but worried, I said, remembering what happened this morning. But why ? Said Julie, getting closer to us in turn. I tell them everything that happened this morning with every last detail. 

And Mara says : He no longer has the right to force you to marry outside our country. I know, but he is determined. I'm a little scared when he learns that I'm engaged to Miguel. Don't worry, we're here for you no matter what, says Julie. I know, but you don't know, he's possessive, he won't stop until he gets what he wants, I say. Listen my beautiful, relax, Mara is right, he no longer has the right to force you to marry outside your country, it is the law otherwise he will go to prison, said Laura, comforting me. 

What will do without you girls, I said, smiling.
