Chapter 26

When I got back to the apartment, I went to prepare the little ones for their bath because we are going to have dinner at Mara and Antony's this evening. After the children's bath, I help them get dressed quickly and leave as quickly as possible to take a good shower. Arrived at Mara's, I take Mara in my arms and Antony the same. The latter in turn takes Mia in her arms giving her a kiss on the cheek.

My little princess is going to join the boys to play. A smile appears on my lips seeing them like that, playing and having fun with Antony, they are so cute. Me and Mara, we go to a table on the terrace and start to chat. I tell her from A to Z of everything that had happened this afternoon at the park but it doesn't seem to surprise her and wonder why. 

A moment later, she says : I have to admit something my beautiful. We are interrupted by the bell at the front door. And I say : Were you expecting someone else ? Anger rises in me as I see the person who has just entered the living room thanks to the glass ball that shows the living room . I get up from my chair and turn to Mara and say : Did you say that I was here ? My beautiful ... 

I cut it. 

-Answer me ! I said. 

-Yes it's me, she said, lowering her head. How could you do this to me, and I suppose it was you who told him that I have been living here for three years, I say at the end of my nerves.

She lowers her head again and does not respond. Awesome ! My best friend stabbed me in the back. And I end up saying : Wow ! I trusted you, I told you I didn't want him to know where I was. Mia comes towards us and I say : Go my loves, here we go ! But why mom ! Say the children at heart. Because I'm the one saying it, I say, pissed off. You just have to dine here and then you go home, said Mara behind me. Yes mom, we are too hungry, say them begging me and in my heart. Okay, but it's not late, I said, showing a fake smile. The children jump for joy, they kiss me and then their auntie.

We sit at the table, me anyway, I completely ignore Miguel.
