Chapter 23

It's been two weeks since my heart broke since I broke up with Miguel. All I want is to find him and tell him that I love him and I don't care about everything else but I can't take the risk of being in danger like the other time. Lately I have had unbearable nausea and dizziness that have hurt me a lot. Today, I'm in the waiting room of a hospital with Mara to wait for my appointment with the doctor that Laura advised me. 

The secretary comes and tells me that the doctor can receive me. I enter the office and sit on a chair in front of the doctor. Mara sits down next to me. And the doctor : Hello ladies, how are you ? All right doctor, tell me and Mara, smiling lightly at her. What brings you here miss Akhrif ? Ask the doctor politely. In recent days, I have had many nausea and dizziness, I do not know what I have. I've never had this before, I say, worried. Okay, we're going to do some tests and a blood test to make sure it's nothing serious, said the doctor, standing up. After the tests and the blood test, the doctor comes back with the results. 

And he sits on his chair and says : Miss Akhrif, according to the results of the blood test and the other additional tests that have been done, you have nothing serious, it's completely normal in your state. But I don't understand what you mean, doctor. I'm lost, I ask, lost. Miss, you are three weeks pregnant, replied the doctor with a smile. What ? I am expecting a baby, I say surprised and happy at the same time. Yes, congratulations ! Said the doctor, getting up. My beauty, I'm going to become auntie, oh I'm so happy for you, said Mara, taking me in her arms. At the same time, my phone is a message from Miguel. I unlock it and read the message. 

"From : Miguel"

My sun, I miss you, find me in this address. Falling Run Apartments N° 100 on three floors. I expect you my love ! 

I show the message to Mara and sha says : You should go, I remind you that he is the father of this baby who is growing in you ! I adore you, you are the best friend we can have, I said, taking her in my arms. I know, go ahead, your prince charming is waiting for you, said Mara. I apologize and quickly leave for the address that Miguel has indicated to me. 

Arrival, I go up the stairs and then I arrive in front of apartment N° 100. The door is open so I enter. On entering I see a red bra on the floor and men's clothes as well. I enter a room at the end of the corridor. I see Miguel lying naked on the bed next to a woman. I watch him letting my tears flow. He wakes up and freezes suddenly when he sees me in front of him. I run away. He end up catching me on the stairs of the building and said : Kaylee, I swear that this is not what you think... The minute he wanted to finish his sentence, I give him a slap with all my might. And I answer : 

IS THIS NOT WHAT I BELIEVE ? YOU WANT TO SAY THAT IT WASN'T YOU IN HIS ROOM WITH THIS WOMAN, HALF NAKED ON THE BED. YOU'RE A BUCKY, I CAME HERE AS A POOR FOOL ? BELIEVING THAT WE'R GOING TO BE AGAIN AFTER THE MESSAGE I RECEIVED FROM YOU ... What, what message ? Kaylee, I swear I don't have a message for you, he said, putting his hands in his hair. TAKE ME FOR THE LAST CUNT, ME I LOVED YOU, I GIVEN HIMSELF TO MY PRINCIPLES AND MY TRADITIONS. AND YOU ? AFTER YOU HAVE SAID THAT WE COULD NOT BE TOGETHER AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, YOU ARE ALREADY REPLACING ME WITH ANOTHER. YOU'RE A FUCKING LEADER, JUST WAINTING TO PUT ME IN HIS BED FOR PLEASURE. DO NOT APPROACH ME ANYMORE, DO NOT WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOU, I said, leaving with my tears and my broken heart. 

 Arriving at my building, I enter the room and burst into tears  once again. Mara, Julie and Laura come to hug me. Yes, when I left this apartment. I called Mara and told her everything which made my heart even more broken. Julie raises my chin and says : Look at me, this bastard doesn't deserve you to cry for him. He has just lost magnificent and exceptional young person like you, he will regret it one day. Trust me ! Julie's right, you can't cry for a man like him, be strong my beautiful. This baby growing in you needs a strong, healthy mom, Mara, touching my little belly. Yes, we are going to become magnificent aunties for this little angel, said Laura, smiling slightly. Thanks, you're right, I'm not going to cry for this bastard anymore. 

And I don't want you to tell me about him anymore. I'm going to rebuild my new life with this little angel who will be arriving very soon, I said, drying my tears. Yeah she's my sweetie, we're all with you for better and for worse, said Julie, being with Mara and Laura. No longer cried for this poor guy, I said, getting up. Yes, because we are fighters, said Laura, smiling. Well seen, said Mara, winking at her.
