Heeeeey there! How are you all doing?

Thank you for 800+ reads, guys! That's just awesome! You guys are awesome people.

Again, super sorry for this chapter delay. I'm really sad that our project was scheduled every Friday, so it means delayed schedules until June 12th. I'll still try to update on time, and hopefully that won't be a problem because I've already finished SIX (that's right, so much emphasis on six!) chapters of Here's To Us a while back!

Also... wow. Last Damien chapter. I've noticed that majority of the reads are from Damien chapters, so I do hope you guys keep reading 'till the end of the book even if Damien's your favorite guy. We love our Smosh bois.

Anyway, lettuce begin! Damien's POV and see ya!

It was a lie detector. What else did I expect? Why would I think that, hey, just because Y/N and I had a simultaneous shock, maybe we have some sparks going on between us?

I take a deep breath. Of course, there would be physical sparks between us. It was a lie detector game. Again, what did I expect?

"This is torture, man," Y/N remarks, laughing as she touches my arm. "Look, look. I'm all sparkly and tingly. I hate it."

"It hurts," I tell her, rubbing my arm against hers. "Ow, ow, ow, ow! Why?"

"I didn't do anything, it's static," she says, nudging my arm. "Don't worry, I think by tomorrow this is already cool. Just... don't wash your hands for a while."

"Yeah, okay, you too," I tell her as she exits the set to get prepared for a sketch shoot. I sigh as I stare on the table.

This was weird of me to think about. It was just a spark. A couple of sparks. Maybe five, I don't know, who's counting? It's never scientifically proven that physical sparks meant romantic attraction, but every single time I think that it might, why did I always want it to be with Y/N?

I knew Y/N when she joined the Smosh family after Mythical's acquisition of Smosh, and she was very chill yet confidently comedic woman who always seemed to have a witty pun ready for any situation. I had no romantic interest in her at all, but gradually, people were telling me that she and I were adorable on camera together. I didn't want to believe any of it, but then days passed and I'd catch myself wondering how she's doing if she weren't in the office or maybe staring at her every time she does a shoot.

"You okay?" Courtney asks me as she enters the set to get a prop. "Didn't you and Y/N just do the lie detector thing?"

"Yeah," I mumble. "There's something I don't understand about liking someone."

"I don't... think I'm qualified to answer your question, but bring it," she says, sitting across me. "What's up? Y/N finally find out you like her?"

"Shhh," I tell her. Right, I told Courtney, but I didn't tell Shayne quite yet. "It's just... I dunno, Courtney. It feels weird. I haven't liked someone in a long time that all of this is really unfamiliar territory for me."

"It's okay, bud," she assures me. "You aren't required by the, I dunno, constraints of time to fall in love that easily. Take it easy, and... did she ask if you liked her earlier?"

"She asked if I liked anyone," I answer. "I said yes, so I didn't get a shock, but she didn't ask further questions about it. But the sparks. They gotta mean something... or maybe I'm just irrational.

"Maybe she likes you back," she teases me playfully, nudging me on the shoulder. "Well, I should go. I still have a shoot to do. Don't overthink it, buddy. Y/N's awesome, but she's still just a human being, just like you and the rest of us."
