Chapter 18

Korra marches her way inside the air temple without making herself announced, not that she needed to everybody watched her walk from the front door to her small room and slam the door shut. Tenzin, Pema and the kids all looked at each other, Kya left the air temple the day before to move in with Lin in Republic city so it was just the family there. Tenzin stood up from his breakfast and made his way to Korra's room "Honey maybe i should go and talk to her" Pema said but Tenzin shook his head "last time you gave her advice she kissed Mako....but ill do it" Tenzin knocked on Korras door but didn't hear  word he then opened it and saw Korra sat at the edge of her bed with tears streaming down her face "you okay?"

"NO no Tezin i'm not okay i proposed to my girlfriend and the next day she kicks me out saying she had so much work to do...and i know she was lying because she told me she had finished up all her work so we could spend time together" Tenzin sat beside Korra and cleared his throat "well when we like someon-" "Tenzin! i don't like her i really love her, there's this feeling i get when i'm round her that nobody else can give me its special, i wanna start a family with her i want my whole life to be about her so if your going to tell me some bullshit ment for a 16 year old i swear ill burn your head off" Korra huffed she clenched her fist just being away from Asami made her hurt she wanted to protect her at all cost "Tenzin what would happen to Asami if i you know....die" Tenzins eyes widened he looked at the Avatar he really couldn't believe Korra was think of death so soon "I mean i feel empty....not lonely but empty like Ravaa's not their but still here...half of her is gone its weird i know it maybe because of my past lives being gone but this feeling is different...it reminds me every day that i could die and someone could try and harm Asami"Tenzin placed an arm around Korra and pulled her in a long loving hug "When my father died my mother always said she could feel his spirit around her protecting her...like that time someone tried to hurt her but you went into the Avatar state....it wasn't you it was Aang trying to protect her..shell be just fine" Tenzin rubbed circles on Korras back while Korra closed her eyes ready to drift of to sleep.

FUTURE INDUSTRIES 

Asami sat in her chair looking at her empty desk with just a picture of her and Korra on there vacation, she smiled at how oblivious she was to Korra liking her back. it brought back happy memories until she remembered what she had done that morning, she forced Korra out even though she promised to spend the next few days together due to their engagement..."great start to getting Married" she mumbled before her assistant walked in the room "miss Sato the manager of Zhomo and Zaa corporation is here for his meeting" Asami smiled "thank you Raven send him in" Asami sighed as soon as her assistant left she put of her business face and waited for the door to open, and when it did a tall muscular handsome man walked in he stood in front of the desk before Asami stood up and shook his hand "good evening Miss Sato....oh i mean Mrs Sato i believe" He smiled sitting at the chair across from Asamis. the engineer giggled  "Not married yet but i will take that name" The man laugh before standing right back up in a small panic "Sorry my manners i am Zhomo...i am sorry my wife could not be here she is actually with child i cannot wait to see him or her" Zhomo smiled intensively as his thought drifted to his beautiful wife. Asami soon stopped laughing and felt a small pain in her chest "it must be nice...were you not scared when you found out?" Asami asked leaning forwards in her chair, Zhomo became concerned as to why the Sato would want to know this but brushed it over "well i was terrified but my wife was even more scared, she thought i would leave her if she told me but i refused to leave or love her any less...having a child is a great gift anybody who is able to give it is lucky" Asami smiled before pulling out a few papers "Enough talk i'm sure you want to get home to your wife so ill make this quick...why do you wish to join companies and what does yours give us in return"  Asami laid both her hands on the table. Zhomo stood straight up and had a serious expression "well Mrs Sato not to be rude but Future industries is on its last line, your company failed to help those in need after the war so the people of Republic city turned to my company...as much as i helped them it made me realise that my company could help people but not in the way we need to..and Future industries had the essentials to that, so we offer the trust of Republic city back and in return we get the ideas of your future work" Asami was stunned at how he went from cheerful to all seriousness  it made her bored....explains why Korra is the one she loves,  but back to the point Asami thought for a moment before shaking her head "i must think about this more i am sorry i cannot give you a straight Answer right away  i just do not want my company to be shut down ...family business you know" Zhomo laughed and pulled out a silver card from his pocket "here is my number for when you know when we should reschedule a meeting.. have a good day Mrs Sato oh and congratulations on the engagement"  The man walked out the room leaving the Sato alone. she breathed i a gush of Air and laid her head on the desk "uh! i miss her!" soon enough her assistant Raven walked in the room smiling "aint he a cutie" Raven said lifting her left eyebrow. Asami raised her head up and laid back in her chair "you look sick you sure your okay what did Korra do to you? no-OH MY GOD! no way she proposed" Raven screamed as she jumped up and down the room squealing she soon stopped due to Asami ordering her to stop "there is also another thing she did to me" Raven looked at Asami horrified the only other things couples do on a special night is special things..."Asami are you?" "yes Raven i am pregnant but don't tell anybody not even Korra" Raven gabbed her head and shook it before stopping.
