Chapter 25 Avatar Korren

Because i can't find a picture for Korren he looks like Kai but with one blue eye and one green eye

I am Avatar Korren i bet the name Korren sounds familiar right, well it should my mothers name is Korra or 'was' should i say. I'm 12 turning 13 tomorrow. I look a lot like my mother and some people hate that, i have brown hair just like her but it is very curly and one of my eyes is blue like hers while the other is green like my Mama Asami Sato.

People say i'm the strongest Avatar, my connection to the spirit world is very strong, My Mama loves me very much but i can tell she is still morning my mothers passing. Why i am so exited for my 13th birthday...well because my mother left me something and i can only open it on my 13th birthday. i have not told anyone this but i know my mother is still alive i can feel it she is sitting there in the back of my mind sleeping peacefully.

"Korren! your friends are here!" i heared my Mama shout i quickly ran down the stairs and saw my friends, Teko, Zaka and Senga. Teko is the son of my Uncle Bolin and Auntie Opal, Zaka is the daughter of fire lord Iroh II and Senga is the eldest daughter of Jinora and Kai. 

"Hey guys!" i said hugging all of them  "so Korren you ready to go and have some fun!" i smiled and turned to my Mama "can i go i promise ill be good" 

"no fighting do you understand me" 

"yes Mama i love you" i kissed her goodbye and left with my friends.

"so Zaka surprised you came all this way for me your royal-ness such a pleasure to be at your acquaintance " i bowed down in front of Zaka before getting hit on the top of my head "i'm your friend and plus thats not even how you do it, you'd get thrown in the dungeon for saying that"

Nobodys POV
As the children walked around the young Avatar got an idea "hey how about we go to one of them bending fights huh?" Teko started trembling "didn't you promise your mother that you wouldn't fight? and you're making Teko scared"  Korren giggled as he saw the sight of his friend tremble in his boots "oh Senga control your Boyfrined please" 

"he is not my B-boyfriend" Senga mumbled as her blush was no visible "oh would you like me to tell him what we saw in your diary "Korren shut up" Senga threw an air punch at the Avatar making him trip on the ground "ah!...good hit but come on at least lets go check out one of the fights i know Teko would like it" The group agreed to go check out one of the fights as they made their way to an allay way 

*Korren we must leave, this place is bad*

*Ravaa calm down we're just having fun*

Korren continued to walk until he spotted a huge crowed cheering. "hey look over there" the group look over to where Korren was pointing "t-those guys look scary we can't fight them" Teko trembled uncontrollably "look closer Teko...see those are the criminals Chief Beifong has been looking for" Teko went silent allowing the others to speak "okay so what do we do...we can't take them all o- for fuck sake! KORREN CAN YOU WAIT!" Zaka shouted as she watched the Avatar try and take on about 30 men "can we not just leave him...well find him in his next life" Zaka said in annoyance "Come on he needs our help" Senga said running in after her friend fight. Zaka looked back at Teko and smiled "i'll rub your feet if you fight all of them" she said before Teko smiled "you better be good at rubbing feet" He said as he made the ground tremble making multiple men fall to the ground, Zaka soon joined in.

It had only taken the children a few minutes to take down all the criminals . Korren stood up panting "t-that felt good what did you guys th-" 

SLAP

Zaka slapped Korren on the face "you ever put us through shit like that again i swear ill burn your face off" Korren couldn't help but giggle "what and look like your great grandfather spirits no!" Korren laughed as he air scooted away from the flaming princess "i will kill you"

"then ill kill you in my next life" Korren laughed as he froze zaka in ice but kept her head free he stopped air scooting and walked up to his friends "Un-ice me now or i will burn this whole place to a crisp"

"scary but what time is it Teko" Teko shrugged his shoulders "your the tech boy" Korren sighed and looked at his Sato watch suddenly his eyes widened "Late again i guess" Zaka laughed as she melted the ice, Korren nodded before jogging away "you guys coming to my party tomorrow"

"we Were not invited"

"you are now see ya!" and with that Korren was gone.

Teko looked at the blushing Zaka and smiled "Zaka you wanna tell us something " the fire princess turned to see both her friends looking at her in a different type of way "no! Stop...i don't like him hes annoying" Zaka tried to hide the blush creeping up her face "OH my Spirits Zaka has a crush on Korren! how cute... it makes sense since both your parents are like really good friends"

Zaka frowned "w-what Asami Sato and my father do not talk"
"No not Asami i'm talking about Korra you know she knew him before she died"

 the group stayed silent the whole way home. they only put up with Korrens behaviour because they knew he was confused...he had no other Avatar to turn to apart from Aang and the others before him not even his own mother. "you know what your getting him?" Senga  asked as she walked Zaka to her house in republic city "nothing that twerp deserves nothing" Senga giggled "rude much but why are you not going back to the fire nation"

Zaka smiled "i convinced my father to let me stay with my great grandmother Azula, and her wife and daughter Le"  Senga smiled and hugged the older female "see you tomorrow"

"yeah say hey to your brother for me"

"oh my spirits leave some boys for the rest of us".

Sato Mansion

Asami stood near the door tapping her foot as she couldn't help but be worried about her son "Sorry Mama i didn't realize the time" Korren walked up to his mother and tried to hug her, but she did not return it "Korren...is that blood" Asami kneeled down and wiped some blood of his cheek she glared at her son "It was a small fight only one person". 

"then why did Chief Beifong call me saying my son and his friends attended a bending fight and beat up all the people there" Korren looked away "they were criminals and i'm the avatar that's my job to take down criminals" Asami rubbed her two temples on her head "listen you may be the Avatar but you are only 12 okay your not invincible what if something happened to you i was so worri-" 

"no you were not worried about me you were worried that My mothers sacrifice would have been for nothing!" Asami had tears in her eyes "Korren i care about you more than anything why would you think that"

"So you never regretted having me and killing your own wife! i know you have!" Korren clenched his fist as his mother had her head down unable to say a word "See so don't lie to me saying you were worried about me so i do what i want whenever i want! i never asked to be the one that caused her death i never wanted that!" Korren run up to his room and slammed the door he jumped on his beat and screamed in his pillow "I hate it!" he was now crying as he didn't hear his mother walk in the room and pull him into a hug "Mama...i never wanted to be the reason she died" he cried out into his mothers lap. Asami rubbed hr sons back in circles just as Korra did to her "i never regretted having you...i love you more than i love Korra or anybody else don't ever forget that alright" Korren nodded as Asami laid him in his bed and kissed his forehead "ill give you the letters tomorrow okay?" Korren nodded and fell alseep.

I posted this chapter today because i wanted to... so deal with it
