I texted Cole, asking if he was ready to meet at the tree in front of the school. He replied that he would be a bit late, as he had a 30 minute detention. I texted him, "what? I thought you were a good guy, lmfao." he replied, "mr. steele wasn't so fond of me leaving class for 23 minutes ;)" I giggled. "alright, just meet me here sooner or later, my moms picking me up at 5."
"dont worry, ill be there."
I almost wanted to text, "i love you." but I knew I just couldnt. Its too weird.-

Time flew by while Cole and I were talking by the tree, I sat down on the damp grass and the sun began to set. I asked if I could just stay at his house for the night, since I didn't wanna get in trouble by my italian mother. He said it wouldn't be a problem, his parents are pretty chill.
We walked there. It was about 2 minutes away. I asked him where he came from originally.
"Hawaii, actually. People find it crazy. They say, you don't look hawaiian!" we both chuckled. The sunset that was above us looked straight out of a painting, it was so gorgeous.
We arrived at his house. It was cute. Petite and small. The lawn was pretty dead, and the shackles of the house were chipped. It looked quite old, but honestly, I didn't give a crap. We walked inside. I checked my watch before I took off my shoes, it was 7:03. My mom never picked me up. She most likely just forgot.
"So, I'll show you around." Cole said, smiling down at me. He was around 5'8 and I was just barely 5'0. Which is short for a 15 year old. He showed me around, the bathroom was really messy. There was toothpaste in the sink, merky water in the tub, and the toilet was rusted and had some odd particle in it.
"Aaaand this is my room!" he announced, unlocking a door that lead to a full on concrete filled room! The walls were concrete, the floor was concrete, and there were no windows. Just a small green carpet, and a small twin sized bed. I smiled.
"It's... unique." I said, giggling.
"Yea. We can't afford a lot right now... so I'm sorry." he sounded so sad. I hugged him.
"You know I don't care about money, right?" I pat his back and stepped into his room. The concrete felt cold on my socks. I sat down on the edge of his bed, and we talked about stuff, the meaning of life, what we expect from each-other, and just the world in general. He got up to use the restroom after a few minutes, and I decided to explore. There was a small hole in the wall next to his bed that I had noticed. Luckily, I was super petite, so it would be easy to fit in. I got on my knees, and crawled in. I had been crawling for around 4 minutes, when I saw a warm-toned light coming from where I was headed. I kept crawling until I made myself into a small room that actually looked like someone could live in it.
Maybe this is his brothers room, I should leave
I thought. But I didn't. I explored a bit. There was a small dresser by a window. I went through the drawers. I found a small photograph of me! It was of me the day before, walking down the street. My hands were so shaky. "This is a dream.." I told myself. I closed my eyes, and crouched down. I suddenly heard a voice.
"You're next."
