'Journey to get Deku back'

He noticed the book turned more into a journal, whenever a picture was taken it had a paragraph or two to go with it.
He read how their hope was draining and crime was rising.
Few of the pictures were happy ones.
News paper clippings frequented the pages of the album, they mainly followed the rise in criminal behavior and Deku.
Finding the articles about the death of three pro heroes was like a punch to the gut.
He read how things were becoming harder and how heroes were dying left and right.
He read how they were glad the citizens were allowed to leave the island, but they were still caught in the crossfire sometimes.
Some logs were from his classmates, he could see the tear stains on some of them.
More articles about the death of the greatest heroes of all time popped up, pictures became more and more sparse.
When they did pop up, less and less of his classmates were seen.
He could tell when Iida died, his own news clipping was in the album and it's organization seemed to become messy.
It seemed the album was passed between his classmates, when the holder died it was passed on.
He kept going until it mostly became Momo, her sections were organized.
When he flipped a page and it was Todoroki's writing, the dread he had been feeling really carved a pit in his stomach.
Todoroki wrote that it was down to two of the remaining students of class 1-A, he wrote that he loved Deku and regretted not telling him, it was originally how Bakugo and Todoroki got together and bonded.
He wrote how he felt so empty now that his friends were gone.
Eventually Bakugo reached a page where it was his handwriting and his log.
He spilled the truth of how this mess was all his fault and everyone died because of him.
He felt the burden and failure of protecting his classmates, his friends.
He wrote how it was just him and Todoroki now, and then, he wrote that it was just him.
When Bakugo read the page of how they had failed their mission written on the cover page he had expected it to be the end.
He expected to find a blank page.
He did not find a blank page.
He found an empty picture of the common area and kitchen. It was a mess like it would usually be before someone got tired of the mess and forced them to clean up.
It was dark and gloomy, the pictures on the wall he recognized as the ones he saw from when he walked in, but it was devoid of people.
They were all gone.
Next to it was the picture of the graves.
Todoroki's handwriting filled the page once again.
He wrote how he was the last of class 1-A.
Mr. Aizawa was there, but he was the last student.
He wrote how Deku stabbed him in the heart but he did not stick around to see if he was truly dead, and it gave him the chance to freeze the hole and make his way back to U.A.
He wrote that this would be the last entry and how he would be the last person to see the album.
He wrote that if anyone did find the album then he hoped that it would mean Deku was defeated and peace reigned through japan.
Bakugo didn't realize it until a tear fell over Todoroki's signature to show that it was his log.
He touched his face to find it was soaked, a sob wrenched itself from his throat as he closed the album and set it in the bed next to him.
His body slid off the bed and onto the floor, he tucked his knees into his chest and his head into his knees, his arms wound as tightly as they could with his gauntlets around his legs and cried into himself.
He didn't know how long he cried but it was long enough to to where he felt stiff when he pulled his arms away from around his legs to wipe his face.
He stood on wobbly legs and put the photo album back.
He stumbled out of Iida's room and back into the elevator, he made his way to the fourth floor.
He could only partially see as he made his way to his room.
When he got to the room, Bakugo forced himself to breath and look at the door.
It has pictures as well as 'fuck off' signs tacked to it, explosion marks that were definitely intentional were also on his door.
It seemed someone had crossed out Bakugo and written 'Blasty' in permanent marker above his name tag, it didn't look recent, he could only think that kirishima was dumb enough to do it.
He opened his door cautiously and found everything was in place, his decoration hadn't changed much and everything seemed to be put away neatly.
He looked in his closet to see his clothes were definitely a litter bigger than he was.
He looked around to see that even his phone was on his charger, he tried it to see the screen black.
He powered it on and smiled when it opened to the lock screen which was a picture of his entire class hanging out at the mall during their third year, even Deku was in the picture smiling happily.
He clicked the home button, glad it still read his finger print and saw his home screen was a picture of him and Deku when they were kids, he also saw he had 638 missed calls.
He checked the log and scrolled for a long time.
All of them were from Todoroki.
The first few were the only ones that had voice mails attached.
Bakugo sat on his bed and pressed play on the first one.
It seemed like Todoroki was trying to find him and was getting worried.
The next few were the same, then the messages changed.
Todoroki was sobbing and apparently just calling to hear his voice.
A few more messages were like that before they were just missed calls.
Bakugo went to his text messages and looked through all of them, all of the group chats that grew sparse, all of the private text messages, then he went through his camera roll.
The newest pictures were of him and Todoroki, the other they got the more they included Momo and the rest of his classmates.
It seemed Bakugo like to take pictures of the meals he made spread out on the table while everyone was smiling for the camera.
He found a few of him and Deku as children, a few of him kissing Todoroki, a few of catching Denki passed out on Shinso in the common area, some of Almight and Aizawa, he even found pictures of Deku that seemed to be taken at random moments, there were so many different pictures.
Bakugo looked at them all.
When he was finished he felt like crying again.
He stopped himself and shut off his phone before setting it back down.
He grabbed his gym bag and pulled a few black shirts, pants as well as sweats, and a few hoodies into it.
He didn't know how long he was going to be here but he didn't want to spend the entire time in his suit.
Bakugo went down to the second floor and braced himself. He went and saw that Deku's door was bare. He set his bag down outside of the doorway and stepped inside.
Nothing was there.
Of course there wasn't.
Deku didn't come back to the dorms, he was the reason everyone gathered here but he was the villain.
Bakugo sat on the bed and put his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands.
He wanted to scream.
He didn't.
"Fuck, all of this...Everyone is dead because of you Bakugo, Deku is a villain because of you."
He whispered out, he only had a moment to point his gauntlet and have his finger ready to pull the trigger as the door was slammed open.
His vision was blurry but he knew that
half-n-half hair style anywhere.
"Bakugo"
"I was wondering when you'd show up, Icyhot"
