***A white room with a polycarbonate window separating it into two halves, was far underground.
Small holes were cut through the see through window so both sides could hear what was happening on the other.
One half had a bed and a villain, the other had a chair with a hero sitting in it.
"Welcome back, Daisuke, or are you going by Toshiro again?"
The villain had one green eye and one red, he wore a U.A. Uniform, one that was familiar against his body.
The hero had metal piercings on his face and soft brown hair.
"Deku, nice to see you in custody.
Going by Toshiro now"
Toshiro said eyeing the heavy and bulging bracelet like cuffs that canceled the other's many quirks.
"Here to see the results of your hard work?"
There was a collar around the others neck, it contained an explosive that was to be activated in case any escape attempts or resistance happened.
"It is nice, but I came for a different reason."
Deku raised his eyebrow and smiled charmingly.
"Oh? Well don't keep me waiting"
"First, what happened to your eyes?
Red stop working for you?"
Deku gave a slight smile and leaned back against the wall, the white sheets underneath him were annoyingly soft.
"Honestly, I have no idea, have a few guesses but nothing solid."
"What do you think?"
Deku propped a leg up and threw an arm on his knee.
"My guess is that it has to do with a certain Blasty paying me a visit, which is more than I can say for you."
"If I wasn't gone for so long Blasty wouldn't have visited you."
Deku was quiet for a moment and he looked down
"I thought you were dead"
The hero made sure his expression stayed neutral
"Didn't want you to come after me"
"I...I missed you, at least before I knew you were a rat."
A pang ran through the hero's heart.
Even though he was undercover he remembered how Deku had taken him under his wing, a quirkless boy. Even though Toshiro was a hero it was only because Japan needed as many people mobilized as possible, he was a nobody before Deku gave him power.
Toshiro remembered the long nights of training and tender looks Deku would give him.
Deku said he had missed him before he knew he was a rat, but they both knew that wasn't the truth.
"I...It was for your own good."
"Toshiro"
Toshiro has heard that stern tone many times when he was undercover, unless they was training it was hardly ever directed at him.
"Look at me"
Toshiro didn't realize he had looked down, he steeled his resolved and glared as he looked up.
He was startled to find a gentle look on his mentors face.
"Thank you"
The softness of the voice from the hard man made him want to cry.
"If you never brought him then I would still be terrorizing Japan, I wouldn't have stopped.
You did good"
"Y-you bastard, you can't do that anymore! You can't tell me I did good in that voice! I'm a rat and I-"
"Did your job? Saved all of the heroes above us? Saved me?"
Toshiro looked down again and whispered barley loud enough for his mentor to hear.
"I betrayed you"
"Your still a kid-"
He was only 20, 8 years younger then Deku.
He was very young when he was sent undercover, he needed to be or else the ruse wouldn't work.
"-but your a good one"
Toshiro clenched his hands in his lap.
He would always be loyal to the heroes but he would always have affections for the villain that sat across from him, the man was like a father to him.
"I-I have a message for you"
Toshiro choked out instead of replying
"What is it?"
"I don't know"
Toshiro stood up and approached the glass, he pulled out the folded paper from his pocket and slid it into the slot used to pass food to the prisoner. Deku got up and grabbed it.
"Why's it taped-"
He stopped when he flipped the square to look at the other side
"Bakugo didn't want anyone else to see it, I managed to convince Nezu to allow you to have it without anyone examining it."
"Toshiro-"
The hero didn't want to hear any words of gratitude for the villian he put behind bars, or in this case, glass.
"Don't say anything, I'm leaving"
Toshiro turned towards the elevator, the only exit in the room.
"A-are you coming back?"
Toshiro shrugged
"I don't know"
He said as he left.
When the elevator closed Deku hopped back on his bed and ripped the tape off, careful not to ruin the paper.
He could instantly recognize the handwriting as Bakugo's.
