Helloooo everyone!!!!

It's me, ya girl, and we have two chapters left!!

When I started this story I made sure to have it almost complete and see how the storyline would build up. But unfortunately, I'm taking a little break for some personal reasons (a family member passing away).

BUT I have a second book, not a sequel, but it's in the same universe so we'll be seeing Lucille and many others ;)

so here's a sneak peek!!!!

One month after escaping Hydra~

*Ivy*

It was a quiet morning. Peaceful. I was able to enjoy a couple of minutes in my bed after I was awake. With Hydra, I would be waken up in a not so peaceful way.

But instead, now, I can wake up in my own bed. In my own room. In a questionable motel.

I took in every detail before I opened my eyes because I was still afraid that if I opened my eyes it would have been all a dream.

I could hear the birds chirping. The sounds of the people walking by. The harbor in the distance and the trains taking their daily route. The red rouged bed sheets pressed against my cold skin, somehow still making me feel warm.

A quiet and blissful moment.

Which in my case is a miracle? Perhaps a blessing? Maybe a true gift of whatever you believe in.

But that did not mean I could ease into a simple life. With Hydra right around the corner, I have to take extra caution with my new life

Hydra first taught Viatorem to comply. Second; Adapt to your new environment. Learn routines. Predict and Act.

They taught Viatorem but not me. Not Ivy

I wish I had more time to explore my new identity but I can't dwell on it too much, for I fear as easily as I got it, it'll be taken away from me

There was no time to stop. I can feel them coming, closer and closer. I have to stay on edge. Look over my shoulder constantly.

Same as my life before but now I have something to lose.

It only seemed like Hydra was going to war when I left a month ago, it was chaotic. Which was rare but it finally allowed me to escape. Seemingly as all of their attention was drawn to this weird blue glowing staff.

Apparently, aliens invaded New York

I've had countless opportunities to escape but I couldn't risk hurting an innocent person.

My abilities have predicted wars, and stopped them before the enemy had taken their first shot

At first, when I realized I had these...these abilities, I used the for Hydra. But I realised what we were doing was wrong. But it was too late

I tried to help someone find a way to survive the cruel hardships of Hydra but something always went wrong. An effect they called the 'butterfly effect'.

Change one thing and the story is completely rewritten.

After that, I realized I needed to be careful with what I say, choosing every word carefully. Making sure I don't change fate. Knowing what happens before it happens was my worst enemy but now my greatest ally

Trying to escape was easy for me since I was somehow always unaffected but difficult for others I tried to help. Hydra realized that I was getting out of hand after I kept trying to escape. They used the lives of others to make sure I wouldn't fall out of line.

I stopped trying after that.

Experiment after experiment. All the hostages they threatened to kill unless I stayed with died. Whether I tried to escape or not. It seemed like they brought in a new person to experiment on every other month.

They all died. All but these pair twins that survived.

Wanda and Pietro Maximoff.

All I know about them is that they are from Sokovia and that they volunteered for the experiments of Baron von Strucker.

They made it very clear that if I tried to escape, a bullet would be put between their eyes.

But I had no more reason to stay because the twins were shipped off somewhere for further experimentation in May, barely a month ago.

I left soon after before they brought another life to bribe me by, but, of course, they wouldn't forget about me, which means they'll be looking for me.

Unfortunately for them, they wouldn't know where to start.

Despite being locked in a cold wet cage, I actually love the cold but only when there is warmth if that makes sense.

And since it's nearly autumn, what better place to enjoy the cold wrapped in a nice blanket than in a small area like Whitby Yorkshire?
