We were leaning in until I could smell the scent of her, it's sweet.

"Hey Ross its Rydel, everything ok? You didn't call and we were getting worried."

"Oh,Um, Y-Yeah,It's because we had a dinner meeting and Laura and I just reach home."

"Ya I saw your schedules, you people were really busy today."

"Yup, luckily the day is over, and I can GO TO SLEEP!" I joked.

"Ok Ok I won't disturb you any longer, wait, you did take care of Laura right?"

"Yup, she's in bed, safe and sound."

"Okay Good, Mr Gentleman."

"Haha Rydel, Anyway, Good night!"

"Night!"

And we hung up

"Erm..."

"Hey. So see you tomorrow?" I said.

"Oh. Um-Yeah, Night," she replied, sounding disappointed."

"O-Ok, Night," I stuttered.

And with that, I left the room.

Laura's POV

Gosh that was so close.

He still likes Natalie.

He's probably tired, I mean, yes I still like him, but this morning...

I can't think like that.

Argh whatever I'm gonna bathe and sleep, the late night talk show has been moved to tomorrow, so we practically no free time on this trip.

Which now, I find it a blessing.
It's really gonna be awkward tomorrow.

He still have feelings for Natalie, or else why would he be crying over her earlier this morning?
