CHAPTER 7 - Why don't we go for a date?

~ Croccus : The Honey Bone Hotel~

Lucy pov

We've arrived in the hotel, Erza said we can take our time until midnight. Natsu told us he wanted to tour around the Croccus. I followed him with Yuki and Gin. We were wandering around until Yuki saw a florist. We decided to go there.

"You sure love flowers, Yuki!" I said. She nodded, "Mother Layla said me and Gin were born in the middle of flower beds. I can't remember our mom, but Mother Layla said she was a strong wolf in the realm" she sid.

"then, how about we build a small garden where you can collect flowers?" I said as I put a flower necklace in her neck. Her eyes sparkled, "I love you, Lulu!" then she hugged me.

"Then why don't we build the garden in my house?" I looked at Natsu, "my house has a big yard you know" he said as he put a flower crown in my head, he grinned. I felt my cheeks blushed. "that's right! Why don't we decorate Natsu's yard?" I said.

"can we?!" Yuki shouted, she grabbed Natsu's hand. Natsu grinned "what do you think, Gin?" he said. Gin was looking away and pouted, "as long as Yuki happy..." Gin said. "Then it's settled!" I hugged Yuki.

We wandered around and now it's 8 p.m, we decided to drop the kids to the guest house where Fairy Tail cheer's stay. We walked silently, I wonder why Natsu keeps silent.

"Luce," he said as he stopped walking, I turn my back and look at him. "Why don't we go for a date since it's just the two of us?" he said. What?!

I gulped, "I-I'd love to... B-but not today. E-Erza gonna mad at us" I said nervously, as if I promised him that we'll go for a date next time. He grabbed my hand, draw an ouroboros pattern in my hand. "what is it?" I asked.

"It's an unlimited dragon promise. No matter how long it takes, if we couldn't fulfill the promises in our lives, then our reincarnation will. Igneel taught me that" he grinned. I can't help but smile and giggling, it's cute for him to say those words.

We walked to the hotel with Natsu keeps holding his hand on mine. I blushed, sometimes I peeked at his face.

Gosh, I am hallucinating!

Natsu looked so handsome!

And those abs too!

He was caring and sweet towards me, Yuki, and Gin.

He'll be the perfect husband and lovely dad if they're our children.

Wait! What?!

I shook my head furiously, tried to erase the thought. "what are you doing?" he said. "no-nothing! Just feel sleepy. That's all" I lied. I didn't want Natsu to know that thought.

What if he did it because I am his best friend?

What if he secretly has a crush?

I have to control my self, especially my feelings.

When we arrived at the hotel, Natsu let go of my hand. I felt a bit sad, I wanted to hold it a little bit longer. He opened the door of the, he asked which room we are to the receptionist. Then he grabbed my hand, again. I couldn't hold my smile, having a best friend as a crush was a little bit hard, but it was really awesome at the same time.

I knocked on the door and saw everyone already in the room. They didn't wear pajama, they wear their battle suit, except for Gray, he always stripped.

"so the love birds have come back" Gray said. I blushed, Natsu let go of my hand and he goes to Gray. "what's your problem, ice stripper?!" he pulled Gray's hair since he was shirtless.

"What?! I am rooting for you flame brain!" Gray pulled Natsu's collar. "ahaha" I just laughed awkwardly. "you two" they stopped and looked at Erza "stop it right now" she continued. "Aye!" both Gray and Natsu saluted at Erza.

It was midnight and we were discussing our plan for the games. But then we heard a big loud voice. There's a sound of a bell rang loudly.

"For every team whose join the GMG, attention, please. There are 113 teams participated, and we're about to eliminate to 8 teams only!"

I glanced at Erza "they didn't tell us in the handbook!" I said. I knew Erza must be thinking the same thing, "I knew it! this is suspicious" she mumbled.

"The rule of the first round is super easy!" The sound said. Suddenly the ground was shaking. I hurriedly cast Angel's Troia for Natsu, Wendy, and my self.

We saw the hotel building was changed, not only our hotel, the other participants too. "The hotel will be the start point! The finish line is the match area, Domus Flau! Remember, only 8 teams allowed to continue to the next stage!" then the sound was gone. A path from stones appeared in front of us.

"Last thing I'll tell you... We are not responsible if someone dies in this labyrinth! Enjoy the games : Sky Labirynth!"

I saw the team was hurried "Lucy! Come on! We have to finish this fast!" Erza said while grabbed my hand.

"wait" I said and they stopped, "let's hold hand, make a circle!" I said. "what?! This is not the right time, Luce!" Natsu yelled. "just believe me, please" I said, getting annoyed. They followed me, we hold hands and create a circle, I closed my eyes.

"Teleport: Domus Flau!" I casted the teleportation spell and the time I opened my eyes, we already at the finish line, the gatekeeper congratulated us.

"That was cool, Lucy-san! Why don't you teleport us form Magnolia to Croccus instead?" Wendy asked. I giggled "that'll need a super big amount of magic". She nodded. We walked back to the hotel.

"there's something keeps bugging me," Natsu said while looking at me "I heard you spelled Troia right before the ground shaken" I just sighed, I wonder if Natsu was okay.

I mean, he kept using his brain lately. "isn't that's Wendy?" Gray said, but Wendy shook her head. "I didn't. I didn't feel any sign of the sickness so maybe it's just Natsu-san's feeling" she said. "hm, maybe it's just my feeling" Natsu sighed.

I knew I couldn't keep it secret all the time. Soon or later I have to tell them. But what if they don't believe me? What if they'll hate me for not trusting them? I couldn't. I was drowning in my own thought when Yuki and Gin attacked me with a hug.

"Lu is amazing, isn't she?" Gin said, "amazing!" Yuki add. I smiled, they knew how to make me happy. I glanced at Natsu, "I know!" he grinned, I can't help but blush.

I held the kids in my arm, they've gained a lot of weight lately. Suddenly I felt myself lifted into the air, Natsu carried me in bridal style. "Let's go!" he said. The three of us asking "where?" together. He grinned "bed!" he said.

No way! I am not ready for this! I mean, the memory of me hallucinating Natsu being my husband and the dad of Yuki and Gin make me flustered. "what are you saying?!" I yelled.

He stopped, "well I am sleepy and I wanted to sleep" He said.

Okay, why did I had those fantasies in the first place, I'm so stupid.

"but why did you carry me and the kids?!" I yelled, calling Yuki and Gin 'the kids' sounds like they were our children. "well, we have a shared room right?" I nodded, "that's why I bring you, and they must be uncomfortable to sleep without you" he said.

I looked at the kids, they were blushed "can we?" they said in unison. I couldn't believe Natsu could understand them more than I do. "of course" I said. Their face became bright as if they were the sun. "thank you Natsu" Gin said while pouting. "no problem!" he grinned.

Gosh I couldn't stop the fantasies.
