CHAPTER 1 - Wanna go for a job together?

Lucy pov

One year ago, I was happy. I have friends who treat me like a family, I loved them, very much. They helped me to overcome my family's problem. They gave me a place called 'home'. they gave me the feeling I've lost before, happiness.

But then, destiny's turn me down. Everything was okay until she came back from death. It was Lisanna Strauss, the heart of the Fairy Tail guild, the girl who was my best friend's lover.

I was told that she was dead long ago. But now, she was crying happily in Natsu's arm. I was happy, of course. But I don't know why, she never smiled back at me when I tried to befriend with her.

And now it's been one year since Natsu and the others ignored me, I didn't really mind though. Of course I was hurt at first, it was hurt enough made me depressed.

But look at me now, I'm okay, every day I went training after finished my job.

And what's the result? now I can summon 5 celestial zodiac spirits together without the keys, I can cast Urano Metria whenever I want, and I can combat by my self without draining magic at all.

I walked to the guild, gosh, I'm tired. Today's mission was more difficult than I always had. When I arrived at the town, they said it was an SS-Class job, luckily I could manage it alive.

There were so many wounds in my body and I didn't mind covering them, I didn't feel the pain though.

As I enter the guildhall, I found Team Natsu was there, I didn't care what were they talking about.

I just walked approach the job board. Trying to pick one for tomorrow's job. I found an interesting job, it says "we need help : our village was attacked by a group of mages named Daemon, they took our kids. Prize : 10.000.000 J". I took the job paper and then walks to Mira.

"Hey, Mira. I'll take this job. I'll go tomorrow" I said. She looked at the paper. "You sure? This is an S-Class job, this isn't something you can do by yourself, Lucy" she said.

I looked at the paper in her hand, "well, no one knows" I said. "should I go with you?" she put the paper, "no need, I can finish them by myself", she sighed. I walked out from the guild to leave, but then I felt a shadow, and importantly it was Natsu's presence.

I sighed and turned my body before he could reach me. "what is it, Natsu?" I asked. There he is, looking at me with his stupid face, grinning all the time.

"wanna go for a job together?" he said. I flinched, "excuse me?" after this whole year he ignored me, he suddenly asking for a job, what is he trying to do?

"well... It's been a long time since last time we took a job together... besides..." I knew he was lying to me, he didn't even looked straight to my eyes, and those last words make me believe he hid something. "besides what?" I said, coldly. He look at me in a surprised face.

Why? He was the one who said it out loud. Well, not that loud, but I can hear it clearly.

"Besides, I am going to officially kick you out from Team Natsu after this last job" he said. Am I supposed to cry, angry, maybe slapped him? Well, I didn't feel anything.

I sighed, "It's okay, I'm no more member of Team Natsu since long ago," I said, "and thanks for the offer, but I refuse, I've got my own job" I waved the job paper at him, "bye Natsu" then I left the guild.

~ Time Skip : 2 Days Later ~

Lucy pov

The job was easy, I finished them in one day, the villagers said the other mages can't even stay for a week, well it was an S-Class job though.

And now, I walked to the guild with 2 kids followed me. I found them in the middle of the forest. At first, I didn't mind, but I didn't expect them to follow me home.

"Why are you following me?" I said. The kids wearing a cloak so I couldn't see their faces. "Mother said we have to stay by Lulu's side!" they said together, I flinch a little.

Only my mom who called me Lulu. Maybe the old me will scream kyaa kyaa, but the me now just stay silent. "and who is this mother? and who the heck is Lulu?"

They grabbed my leg, "Mother Layla!" the right one said, "Lulu is Lucy Heartfilia!" and the left continued. I stop walking and then sat down.

I looked at them, touch their head "Why my dead mom sent me you?" I muttered. Wait, what? There's no way they are my mom secret children... Right?...

I was about the ask something but then I heard their stomach growled loudly, they blushed. I chuckled "Okay, first, let's go eat something". I grab their hands and continue walking to the guild.

~ Time Skip : Fairy Tail Guildhall ~

Lucy pov

"Mira, can you give me 3 plates of curry please?" I said to Mira when we entered the guild. I heard Mira giggling "Oh my, you sure have super big stomach today, Lu-" she looked at me in shocked face "who's kids is that Lucy! Tell me who is the father!" she said as the dark aura gathered behind her.

The kids were scared and they hid behind me. "I'll tell you later. But can you gimme the food ASAP? They looked super hungry" I said. Then the kids peeked, "we're sorry... We really hungry, nee-chan" they said together.

"What is this called, Lu?" said the right one, "this is super delicious!" said the left one, they haven't opened their cloak "It's called Curry, Lucy taught me to cook them. I'm pretty sure her curry is better than mine" said Mira.

"Really?!" they both shouted. "dunno, just finish your plate and let's go home" I said. "Home!!" they southed again, gosh I'm going deaf soon.

Just when they finished eating, I saw Team Natsu, with Lisanna of course, maybe she replaced me. They enter the guild and shouted, "We're back!" said the pinkette, loud as always, huh? I was the part of the loud team though. I glanced at Natsu, then he looked at me, I looked away.

"Lu?" I felt my hand being grabbed by the left, they looked so sleepy, then I hold them both in my arm, carrying them. Then I left the guild, still couldn't believe now I have to take care of 2 unknown kids sent by my dead mom.

~Time Skip : Lucy's Apartment~

Lucy pov

I opened the book my mom left, the title says 'diary'. My mom died since I was 5, ever since then I never open the book she gave me.

'diary, this is my first time writing a diary!
Today Jude proposed to me.
I'm so happy!
He proposed to me in front of everyone in the guild, I was so embarrassed, yet happy.
I love him very much'

'diary, Jude and I got ourselves a new home. It wasn't big, but I believe this house will be fulled of love, me, Jude, and our child.
I can't believe it, I'm going to marry the man I love the most!'

'diary, tomorrow is the day for our wedding. I'm very nervous, I know Jude was more nervous than me.
He really hard-worked, almost every day he went to his job. But tomorrow he will be all mine!
Kyaaah I'm so happy!'

'diary, today was our wedding. It was wonderful! I mean it.
The guild was partying for us! And I know they won't let Jude home early.
I am finally his wife, and it's Jude Heartfilia! He said that he wanted him to become mine, not I become his.
Jude really loves me, it's all written on his face.
Gosh, I love him so much'

I closed the book, It just the fourth page, and everything she wrote was about Papa. Sometimes I wonder if he alright, Papa must be loved mom so much to the point he couldn't accept mom's death.

I glanced at the kids, they slept calmly, no snore. I just noticed they are girl and boy, they slept while holding their hands together. It's cute. I went to the sofa, pulled my blanket and tried to close my eyes.
