CHAPTER 6 - What did you do, Natsu?

~Fairy Tail Guildhall~

Lucy pov

It's been a month since I rejoin the Team Natsu with Gin and Yuki. We've been doing a job almost every day.

"listen up brats! We're going to join the Grand Magic Games this year! The Prize will be 30.000.000 J for the first winner!" Master raised his hand, pointing up his finger "we'll be the strongest guild in Fiore!"

The guild were sound happy, Natsu approached me and said "hey Luce. Today is the due for your pay month right? Let's go for a job!" he grinned.

"it's okay. I have my savings. How about we go training instead?" I said. Natsu frowned his eyebrow "Ooh~ it's been a long time since last time I trained!"

We trained at the West Magnolia, in the middle of the forest. While making a barrier so the magic won't damage too much, Natsu asked me "how much your saving Luce? You seem confident about it".

I giggled "maybe it's about 120.000.000 J?" I said, I didn't really remember. "how did you manage that?!" he shouted, "well, when no one pays attention for my presence, so I always took a job everyday" I chuckled.

When the barrier done, Natsu hold my hand, "sorry" was all he said. "it's okay" I said. Then we're starting training. Natsu is sure getting stronger. Even I had to summon 4 celestial spirits at once and cast Urano Metria twice.

The training ended me lose. I wanted to win the match, of course. But I didn't want to use my dragon-slaying power, for now.

"ugh! It's easier to take an S-Class job than having a match with you!" I said whining. He grinned "that's amazing Luce! You make me unable to hold back! You sure getting strong" he said.

Then he stopped, "wait, how did you took S-Class job?". I knew he'll asked me that. "It's easy since nobody noticed me include the Master, Mira gave me the permission" I laughed at his dumbfounded face.

I fond my knees bleeding, it's hurt a little and Natsu noticed it. He begged to carry me but I refused. "it's okay. I have magic healing" I said as the bleed stop and the wounds closed by itself. "how did you learn it?" I rolled my eyes "I don't remember!" I yelled as I run to the guild.

"Come on, Natsu! Let's see who's the fastest!" I said. He triggered and use his fire as a booster. "hey that's illegal!" then I used the teleportation magic, and landed in front of the gate of our guild. I saw Natsu behind me "hey! How did you get here first?!" he yelled. I summoned Gemini to made an excuse. I and Gemini grinned, "that's illegal!" he whined and we both laughed.

We stepped in the guildhall, Master was about to announce the participant of GMG. "the team A will be : Erza! Natsu! Gray! Wendy! and Lucy!". Awesome, as if Team Natsu was chosen for a mission. "and team B will be : Laxus! Mira! Gajeel, Mystogan, and Juvia!" Oh my, the team B really strong! 3 of them are S-Class mage.

"I hope we'll get the first place!" Master said and we shouted "first place!!"

~Time skip : The Day before GMG : Lucy's Apartment~

Lucy pov

"Lu? Can we join your train?" Yuki asked me. The train for participants and cheers were different. "I'll ask master". They looked at each other, "yeay!" both Yuki and Gin shout happily.

I told them to sleep earlier so they won't whine for tomorrow morning, since the train departs at 4 a.m.

"Luce" I was startled, why I didn't felt Natsu's presence? "what is it?" I asked. "Lemme stay here, don't wanna woke up late for tomorrow" he said. I looked at him, "where's your luggage?" he showed me his bag. "okay, gimme".

He give me his bag, since there's still plenty of room in the suitcase, I put his stuff to mine. "where's Happy?" I asked, "he stayed with the other exceeds" he mumbled. I looked at him, he seems really sleepy. "good night, Luce" he said and kiss my cheek. I blushed hard, I was about to punch him but he has already slept.

"what was that for?" I mumbled.

~Time skip : Train to Croccyus~

Natsu pov

Ugh, it's really a pain in the ass! Wendy said I shouldn't use Troia continuously, it'll make me immune to the magic.

Why didn't we just teleported to the Croccus?! Well that's because we don't have a teleport machine or somewhat.

I looked at Lucy who silently looked down. I couldn't take it no more! I want to lay my head in Lucy's lap like I always do before, it's really cozy that makes me forgot about my motion sickness. But unfortunately she seemed in a bad mood today. I wonder why.

I tried to remember what happened last night.

I heard Lucy's scream so it wakes me up. "what's up Lucy?" I said. "I let you stay over, but no sleeping in my bed!" she punched me. Gosh it's midnight and I really wanted to sleep. I glanced at the kids, they haven't woke up yet. So I tried to not make a sound.

"ssh! It's midnight and you'll wake them!" I whispered, grabbed her wrist that was going to punch me. "then just sleep on the sofa!" she said in a whisper. "but you and your bed are the best, Luce!" I said.

There was not enough light for me to check at the face, but I could feel her hand trembled. I wonder if she was sick so I checked her temperature by leaning my forehead in hers. "you're not sick" I said. Then pulled my face. Trying to sleep again but she told me to sleep on the sofa.

Ugh I hate to sleep on the sofa! It's make my body numb. But since I don't want her to punch me again, I walked out of the bed.

I wonder where's the part I made her bad mood. "Luce~ gimme a massage" I said, but she ignored me, she just stays silent.

When I put my self in her lap, I saw her face was pale, as if she has motion sickness. "urk" she covers her mouth as if she was about to throw up.

That's weird, it's the first time I see her like this.

"whoa whoa! Luce are you okay?!" I got up and massage her back. "I.. forgot to.. cast... Angel's Troia" she said in mumble but I could hear them.

Troia is a special medicine for dragon slayer's motion sickness. "Wendy! Help.." I looked at Wendy, she got motion sickness too. What should I do?!. I decided to massage her back continuously, I couldn't believe I switched role with her like this.

We arrived at the Croccus's Station, I just noticed I forgot my motion sickness, I looked at Lucy, her face showed a happy reaction, as if it's the end of the disaster. I grinned to her, "thanks Natsu!" she said, "how did you not feel your motion sickness today?" she asked.

"I forgot the pain... I was too worried because it's the first time I saw you like that" I said, she smiled. We walked to the nearest bench, waited for the other dragon slayers to recover.

"tell me, Luce" I called her, "since when did you have motion sickness?" I asked. She didn't answer, I glanced at her, she looked panicked. I move myself closer, then I put my arm around her shoulder, "Luce?"

Her face was red, just like the red color of my guild mark, she sweated a lot. "I know it!" she stiffened. "k-know what?" she asked while playing her nails. "you sick, right?" I touch her cheeks, it's pretty warm. I was about placed my forehead in hers to making sure her temperature.

"Stop there, you love birds!" I looked at Laxus who standing all mighty. "Oh my, don't bother the lovey-dovey, Laxus" Mira said. Gray was whistling with Juvia hugged him. "great to know you got your mate, flame boy" Gajeel said. I let go Lucy's cheeks immediately, I blushed hard.

"wha-! It's not like that! I just checking Lucy's temperature!" I yelled. I could hear the mumbled "yeah yeah yeah"

I looked at Lucy, she was holding her cheeks, and glanced at me. We suddenly looked away and blushed. But that's not last long, I saw 2 kids looked at me in rage. I gulped.
