CHAPTER 17 - The strongest duo?

Lucy pov

"Today's battle is.. 2 vs 2!" The moderator shouted.

"The 1st battle will be Blue Pegasus vs Quatro Cerberus! 2nd battle will be Mermaid Heel vs Lamia Scale! 3rd battle will be Sabertooth vs Fairy Tail!"

The teams gathered on the battle arena. The Fairy Tail's new team will be Erza, Natsu, Gray, Laxus, and Me. Master said we're the strongest team in Fairy Tail.

Why me?, I wonder. I mean, Gajeel, Juvia, or Mira sure stronger than me. I kept silent and look around the arena, the audience excited as always.

I saw Sting and Rouge from Sabertooth looking at me, and don't forget that Minerva girl, she looked angry. Gray glared Rufus, the long-haired guy from Sabertooth. Sting glared Natsu in rage, I wonder why he hates Natsu so much.

"I'm all fired up" I heard Natsu mumbled. Yeah, he always does, unlike me, I guess.

The team watched the game from our bench. I hold Gin in my hand and Yuki slept in Natsu's lap. We were discussing the game.

"Sabertooth has 2 dragon slayer, and I think Sting somehow hate Natsu," I said, "and that black-haired guy, Rogue, seems pretty close to him" I added. I noticed Natsu frowned his eyebrows to me and gave me his 'what the heck' look.

"yeah, the rumors said they are twin," Gray said. "Twin?" Erza touched her chin, as if she was thinking something important, "why their hairs have a different color?". I rolled my eyes, stupid of me hopped something great.

"They aren't twin," I said. "How did you know?" Gray asked.

Eeh, what should I do?

"Umm, you know, when I was away, I heard some gossips around," I lied and laughed awkwardly. "They taught by twin dragons. If I wasn't wrong, it's the light and shadow dragon" I said.

"It means, the probability of Sting-Rogue combinations is higher than the other" Laxus said. I nodded, he was right, I heard Sabertooth always delegate the twin dragon slayer on the past GMGs. "

Gajeel would be more fitted for this" Erza said, "his new shadow ability is suited for the game. Should we talk to master?" she asked.

I gritted my teeth. I knew it, I'll be kicked again. I nodded, "yeah, a battle of dragon slayers would be amazing, right?" I said and tried to smile. Well, she didn't know I am a dragon-slayer, I couldn't blame her for that.

"oh, this is fun!" Gray whistled.

"Battle of dragon-slayers? That sounds cool!" Natsu said and grinned. I saw Laxus stood up and smirked, "so, who will it be?" He asked. I glanced at Erza who stared me.

Suddenly I felt an arm leaned on my head, it was Laxus. "How about we give them the Dragon Princess?" he asked. I gasped, I haven't told everyone but Natsu and him. Ezra looked at him "Wh-" Natsu cut her, "how did you know about her?" Natsu said while glaring at Laxus.

Stupid Laxus!

I pinched Laxus's hand. "Do you mean Wendy?" Gray asked. Good timing Gray! "We have to subtle our members again! That's annoying though" he said. Ugh.

Erza nodded, "I can understand the 'battle of dragon-slayer' thing, but I agreed to Gray. Wendy haven't healed" she said.

How am I supposed to be? Happy because of my secrets haven't uncovered yet, or be sad because I didn't even look as if I got stronger.
