Because Rowan was considered dead in the city of Nightwing, he had to be very cautious when going out so no one would see him. One late night, he flew down to Damien's house. He remained outside, watching through the windows and listening through the roof. Rowan began to gradually feel worn down, which Morgan indicated to him that he would soon need to go down for a 3 day rest. Rowan just wanted to see his best friend one more time before the rest.

Rowan spent the previous 4 days studying his equation and writing it down to translate it to other scientists. It felt a little weird for him to be holding the notebook again, with a few burn spots on it. He had a bit of trauma again from remembering that frightening day. However, he was able to translate the equation with no trouble.

Since Morgan was known to be alive still, she took the notebook to Ethan (pretending to grieve), stating that the notebook was found with Rowan's body before it disappeared. Even though Ethan was still grieving over the loss of his son, he was very joyful to see that Rowan succeeded in finding a treatment to M.S.

Now, Rowan was watching through the Hayes living room window, witnessing the family react to the news. Mia was so happy that she was in tears, as well as her father.

"It said in the notes that he wanted Mia to be the first one to get the treatment." said Ethan.

"It would be my honor," said Mia. Now she began to shed tears of sadness, "I wish I could thank him. I miss him..."

"I think he knows sweetie," Ethan replied, sighing.

Yes, he does, Rowan thought.

Ethan left shortly after. While Mr. Hayes and Mia started to watch TV, Damien made his way up to his bedroom. Rowan shifted from the living room window to Damien's window. He was sitting at the edge of his bed, staring at the wall.

"I hope you can hear me man," he said, "But I'm really fucking proud of you...you helped my sister...and it cost your life." Damien began to choke, "I'm proud of you, but I really fucking miss you...."

Rowan began to choke himself. It was moments like this where he wished he survived the explosion. He wouldn't have been turned, and he would be spending tonight cooking with Damien or something instead.

"I fucking miss you too bro...." said Rowan as he flew off.

Rowan returned to the house and began to prepare for his slumber. Carter and Skylar gave him Alyssa's old stone bed. They moved it beside Morgan's. He was getting dressed into comfortable black clothes.

"So," said Morgan, "I'm not sure if you thought this yet. But because you are now considered dead, we will have to move at some point."

Rowan stopped changing and looked at his wife, "Oh...."

Morgan sighed, "I know it's not the happiest thought, but unfortunately it does need to happen. We can't let people see you since your aging has drastically slowed."
