Rowan's leg healed up just fine over the course of a day. He went into a slumber after the fight with Tina. He woke up feeling refreshed, and much better.
He sat out on their balcony with Morgan, looking up at the stars. Both were cuddled in a blanket.
"I still can't believe she's gone for good." Rowan said.
"How do you feel?" Morgan asked.
"Actually, relieved." he replied. "I didn't mean to kill her, but...it feels right that it happened. I...I hope I don't go to hell for killing someone."
Morgan kissed his shoulder. "I think you would have turned into ash love, when the sun hit you."
Rowan smiled, it was a good point.
"So listen," she began, "Nightwing believes you're dead. So we can't risk anyone seeing you for a while. Your cure is becoming very popular over the news. Until a few generations die off, we have to move to another place..."
"Oh..." Rowan replied. "I mean, I guess that makes sense. When do we need to leave?"
"Couple days," said Morgan.
He felt a little sad. "But, this is such a beautiful location. And what about the dungeon?"
Morgan laughed, "When you've been around as long as I have, you see lots of beautiful locations, and dungeons can always be rebuilt. We'll make another one."
"But that one has great memories," he said, "It was where I fed you."
She snuggled in closer to him, "How about we make the new one look the exact same?"
"Deal," he replied. He looked up at the stars, thinking.
"Okay," he said, "I'll start packing, but there's something I need to see first."

Rowan was happy to see a moving truck outside his dad's place. He watched Ethan through the trees in the backyard, locking up the house one last time. Ethan shook hands with the truck driver. He heard the words "I'll meet you halfway for lunch in Fort. St. John." Good, that meant Ethan was going far.
He watched Ethan walk around to his car as the truck drove off. He opened the car door, but stood looking around. He had enough money now from Rowan's cure to go anywhere he wanted and do anything.
Ethan took in a deep breath, "Thanks son," he said, smiling, and got in the car. As Rowan watched his dad drive off, he responded within the trees.
"Take care Dad..."

The house was nearly all packed in boxes. Rowan was reading when he could hear music coming from Alyssa's old room. He walked over and saw Morgan playing a bass guitar. He watched her from the doorway, and his mind went on a tangent about them.
He thought about when he first met her, tripping into her office like a silly guy. Feeling safe the moment he looked into her eyes. Finding out she was a vampire. First kissing her Halloween night. Their first time together, how pure he felt when he first got naked in front of her. His first time in the dungeon feeding her. Proposing and marrying her.
Rowan wanted to relive those memories just one more time. He walked back over to their bedroom, where some of their dungeon stuff was packed. He unpacked her dominant outfit, and laid it out on the bed. He took a photo, and sent it to Morgan with the text message.
Hungry Mistress?
Rowan was dressed in his submissive outfit. He walked over to the stereo in the dungeon and put on Pearl Jam's "Sirens".
He knelt down in front of the fireplace and waited. He didn't wait that long, as he heard Morgan walk up behind him. When she came into his view, he saw her wearing her dominant outfit. He smiled.
She was also smiling. It was a Morgan smile. Not a mistress smile.
"Would you like to feed me?" she asked.
He nodded.
She stroked him, "This session may take a while. You know, in order for us to have children, we'll have to mate for hours a day, 3 months straight. I hope you're okay with that."
"Yes, Mistress." He smirked as he watched her close the dungeon door behind him.
