I stand in Finnicks room, waiting for them to call me in. Coin wanted us to shot the video today and I've been trying to prepare myself for what I have to say.
"Hey" I hear a voice say and turn around. I came face to face with Finnick.
"Hi" I say and he looks at me. He was wearing a knitted gray sweater and a pair of black pants. His outfit was like mine.
"Remember, I will be out there so let me know if you need me" he whispers in my ear and I nod. I wrap my arms around his body and he puts his head on mine. We stood like that for at least 20 minutes before there was a knock on the door.
"Come in" Finnick says and the door creaks open. Bogg walks in and looks at me. He motions for us to come with him. We follow and Finnick grabs my hand. I squeeze it and he mimicks me.
He leads us to the door to the vault and knocks three times. The door swings open and Coin steps out. She smiles at us and leads us outside. We stand in the rubble of what happened after the bombing.
"Now,Ariah you go first. Let's begin" said a girl with a side shaved head. Cressida I think was her name.
"Okay" I mutter and Finnick kisses my forehead. I stand in front of her and look at the camera.
"I'm Ariah Jemmer. Winner of the 68 Hunger Games. I live a wonderful life because I'm a victor. Well that's wrong. I live in pain and agony. Used for the Capitols use and pleasure. They sold me for barely a month worth's of food. My body, tired and sore but they made me do more. I can feel the pain still there. The only thing keeping me sane and not feel like this was Finnick O'Dair. But they tore him away from me and tortured me, Johanna Mason and Peeta Malark. They look like kings but they are devils. Till this day I could still feel the strange mans hands all over my b-body" I stammer out and I shake. I felt like the hands were wandering and Finnick runs forward and catches me before I hit the ground.
I sob and Boggs comes forward.
"We have to get out here. Its not safe" he says and Finnick picks me up, bridal style. I hide my face in his neck and try to control my sobs.
I felt Finnick run down the stairs and then being placed on a bed. He pushes the hair out of my face and wipes away my tears.
"Baby I'm so sorry" he says and hugs me to his chest. I just g him back and close my eyes. I wanted to sleep in a nice house
And Finnick was my shelter.
