Skinny Love( Finnick Odair)

Chapter Two-Time Passing

I lean against the wall and watch Johanna sleep. I wanted to be careful around her because in the three years I've known her, shes never broke.

"Here's your food" the Peace Keeper says and hands me a plate filled with two slices of bread and a piece of meat. He fills up the water cup and leaves. Johanna stirs and I place the food down and take a piece of bread. It taste hot and my stomach and mind enjoyed it.

"Do you ever think we are going to get out of here?" A voice asks and I look up and see Peeta. A Peace Keeper pushes him in our cell and I jump up. He had bruises covering his face and arms and my heart ached to help him. I pour some of my water on a wag cloth and clean his face.

"Yes. I think Katniss and Finnick are planning getting us out" I reassure him. But I was doubting myself. He flinches when I touch his right cheek. A huge bruise covered it.

"I'm so sorry Peeta" I whisper and hug him. He groans and I pull back.

"Sorry" I tell him and he smiles.

"No-one has hugged me in forever so that felt nice to be loved" he tells me and I hug him again. He smiles and then I hear a snap. I look up and see a camera. It was filming us. They are filming us and showing it to the rebels.

"Finnick, I'm here, it's me Arias! Help us!" I scream and the camera shut off. That must mean it was broadcasted. I look back at Peeta and he was grinning from ear to ear.

"We might be saved!" I shriek and Johanna sits up. She rub her eyes and looks around.

"Lover boy" she says and he pulls away from her.

"I didn't really kill Katniss" she mutters and he relaxes. He doesn't know about the plan and the rebels gaining and The Rebellion.

Then the door opens and three Peace Keepers walk in. They grab me and one kicks me in the stomach. Johanna screams and lurches forward but a Peace Keeper pushes her back. Peeta watched in horror and I rolled over on my side. Their boots covered my body as they rampaged me and I gasped for breathe. My arms covered my face and I was crying.

No more. I felt nothing and I looked up. They were gone and Johanna jumps to me and Peeta helps her. Them lay me down and she gasps. I look at my shirt and see a note put there. Peeta takes it and reads it.
"This is a warning. If they find you now, it is your fault and we will still kill you. Silly girl, they probably don't even care about you tributes. You mean nothing to non of them except Finnick and Katniss. - President Snow.

My heart ached when he said Finnick. But this note means that they saw the video. They know we are here. They know we are safe,well not safe but together.

Finnick POV

I sit next to Katniss at the dinner hall. She seemed lost in thought and I sigh. I have been like that for awhile because I knew they had Arias. Then the Tv came on. I focus my attention on the screen and so does everyone. This wasn't the Capitol Tv. This is as if, they sent just District 13 a video.

I see Peeta and Katniss takes a sharp breathe. Someone was kneeling in front of him washing his face,where bruises covered it. Her brown hair was messy and her small frame looked tired. She hugs Peeta and I realize who it was. Arias.

"Oh my god" I say and stand up. I look at he tv and I see Johanna sleeping. they all looked bad and Arias turns to the camera. She squints at it and then smiles. That loving,kind smile of hers.

"Finnick I'm here! It's me Arias and I'm here! Help us!" She screams ad the screen cuts black. My heart leaped when she called out to me. Only me.

She was alive.

I turn to Katniss and she turns to me. She had wide eyes and my eyes probably mimic hers.

She starts to run towards something and I just stay there shocked.

"She's alive" I mutter and put my hand over the pendant around my necklace that matches her. She didn't know I had one.

"She alive!" I shout and everyone looks at me. Some smile and others give me a dirty look.

I run out of the hall and run to where B2 is. His lab was huge and the walls lined with weapons and chemicals lied everywhere.

"What can I help you with?" He asks and I smile.

"I need a new trident"

Arias POV

I wake up and see Johanna staring at me. I sit up and wince, my head hurting. I recall what happened and grimace. I look around and see that Peeta wasn't there.

"They took Peeta back to his room. Well, cell" she says and I nod. I just wanted to curl up in a ball but I knew that wasn't going to happen.

"You can lay down for awhile. I'll let you know when there here for the injections" she tells me like she read my mind. I roll over and pull the blanket around me, letting sleep take over.

"Finnick Odair. There you have it for tributes of District 4 of the 68 Hunger Games" The lady calls out and my heart stops. I look over and see Finnick walk up the stairs. I felt a tear roll down my check and I catch his eye. We lock eyes and they drag him away to the back area.

"Anyone, who is realated or close to either Finnick Odair or Melody James, my come now" The announcer says and I run up the stairs to the door holding my love. I push it open and I see a Peace Keeper. He asks for my finger and he takes some blood and leads me to Finnicks room. I push open the door and rush into his room. He was sitting on the couch staring at nothing. He looks up at me.

"Arias" he mutters and stands up. He walks over to me and hugs my small body to him and I cry.

"Please,please win" I whisper and he kisses my head.

"For you my love"

I woke up, not screaming, just woke up. I rub my eyes and feel that I was crying. Johanna was still sleeping and I let her. I push my hair out of my face and I hear a click. Like the camera was going off again.

"I'm here. Me, Johanna and Peeta are here" I say not looking at the camera. Just stating it. Then the click goes again and I sigh.

Time was passing and I needed Finnick.
