I wake up and see that nobody was in the room. I see a piece of paper on the desk and I read it.
Sorry that I'm not here to see you when you wake. Have to help Coin with Peeta. Sorry love.
I sigh and decide to go walk around. I open the door and hear yelling. I peck out and see Finnick fighting Peeta. Peeta had a straight face and had gray eyes.
"Stop. Peeta its me!" Finnick yells and tries to show Peeta his wrist, where the golden bangle was.
"Your friends with her! You could be trying to kill me too!" He yells and he gets a death grip on Finnick. I run forward and scream.
Peeta looks at me and drops Finnick. He was shaking. He looks down at Finnick who was gasping for breathe.
"I did that?" He asks, tears welling in his eyes. I nod and walk forward slowly. He stands there, fear in his eyes. His eyes which returned to there beautiful green stared at me. So many emotions held in his eyes.
"I'm sorry" he says and I pull him into a hug. He didn't seem to freak out around me. Why?
"Its okay. I'm here" I try to soothe him. He just sobs into my shirt and Finnick manages to get up. He looks at me and nods.
"Tell Katniss that I'm not safe. Tell them to kill me. I'm the-" he starts and then shuts up. I look into his eyes and they weren't the loving boy that they were. These were gray and no emotion where in them.
I back away slowly but he grabs my wrist, pulling on it hard. Somehing snapped and I tried to pull away but he just hurt me more. I scream in pain and Finnick tugs him away. He grabs something from his pocket and I see that it was a needle.
"No!" I hear Peeta screams. He curls into a ball and I gasp for breathe. Finnick kneeled down and put the needle in his shoulder. Peeta was sobbing.
"Why me?" He whispers and I stand there looking at my broken friend.
But do friends do what Peeta has just done?
