September 3rd - Sunday
The ravenhead and the for now mistery man were almost at their designated location. Jungkook knew because of the GPS, the man knew because of the pure fact that Paris was his home, his joy, the place where he'd die. He knew his city like the back of his hand.

Sir, can I ask, what's your name?' Jungkook spoke up in the car.

'It's Kim Namjoon, but you can call me sir.' Namjoon said sternly.

Jungkook already found him an interesting man, he probably has a great backstory. Nobody looks like what they really are on the inside. You don't. Jungkook doesn't. People are much more complicated than that.

They drove trough the big streets of Paris, the younger couldn't believe his eyes. Paris was enchantingly beautiful. The longer they were driving, the older the buildings got. The centrum of the city was long gone as they now found themselves in the suburbs of Paris.

Namjoon drove to a small garage, meant for more cars. Jungkook also found this fascinating. Back in Busan all the people either had a garage for themselves or would put their cars in public places. There were definitely no small shared garages, he thought it was a genius idea.

They both got out of the car. Namjoon began walking to a shabby apartment complex.

'Welcome! its not much, but it's home.' Namjoon said once they entered the small space.

'I don't have an extra room, so you'll have to sleep on the couch for now.'

Jungkook didn't mind sleeping on the couch, back home the three brothers had to share one bed. So having a whole couch for himself felt like an upgrade.

Now listen kid, I'm not here to be friends, okey? You're only here because Yoongi and Woosung are very important people for me. Understand?' Namjoon said.

'Yes sir'

'Okey good.. Just so you know i'm an hard working man. But hard workers aren't always the wealthy ones. If you want to stay here you'll have to work with me in the local coal factory.'

Jungkook didn't like the idea of working in a coal factory, but did he even have a thing to say about this matter? Probely not. He had no where to go anyways. He was stuck.

At first he was excited when he heard he was moving to Paris. He identified himself as an artist, a poet to be exact. He always knew his brothers would send him away to Europe, they talked about it many times before. Secretly the younger hoped to move to Paris. But he wasn't the one who chose... no people chose for him. So when he heard it was going to be Paris he felt relieved and as Jungkook always says: An artist has no home in Europe except in Paris.

And his expectations were not even close to what the books said about Paris. The city felt alive, living and breathing.

'Tomorrow I'm taking you to the factory, you better get a good long nap, because you'll need your energy in the factory.' Namjoon spoke up.

'Yes sir... thank you for letting me stay and stuff.'

'Yeah, don't worry about it.' With that his new house mate walked to his bedroom, leaving the younger male alone in the living room.

September 4th - Monday
'Hey kid, wake up. And a little tempo please, it's Monday! Time for another long week of work. And the factory opens in 30 minutes.'

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes. He was a bit confused about his surroundings, but then remembered..

'We're leaving in 10 minutes, now you don't want to be late on your first day. Boss is not one of the kindest people to walk around here.'

'What to you mean?' Jungkook asked.

'Just don't get on his nerves okey? I don't need more trouble..'

After Jungkook didn't answer the older spoke up again. 'Got it?'

'Yes sir.'

'Okey good, now get up.'

The walk to the factory was silent. The ravenhead didn't mind. He had a lot of thoughts to recollect. He also remember that he promised to call his brothers and Taehyung yesterday, but he totally forgot.
They weren't allowed to take their phones to the factory, so Jungkook had only one option and that was waiting for this long day to be over.

'We're here kid. Now listen up, don't talk back to anybody and just let me do the talking, okey?' Namjoon spoke up.

'Okey.'

The moment they entered the factory Jungkook felt a lot of eyes on him. Everyone here was either Namjoon's age or older.
It was quite an intimidating sight.

'Everyone listen up!' He heard someone yell from across the big open space.

'We got ourselves a new coal worker today! His name is Jungkook, he's here just for the money, just like everyone else, so don't treat him differently.'

'Is that the boss?' Jungkook whispered to his house mate.

'No that's Kim Seokjin, he's in charge when boss is absent. He's the only nice supervisor in this whole factory. You better stay on his good side.'

'Okey now everyone back to work!' The so called nice supervisor yelled.

And just like that everyone continued their work like nothing happend, Jungkook was just one of them now. Nobody really cared about newcomers. Which he understood. Everyone has something to work for, all these people needed money for different things.

A big man around his 30's came up to the ravenhead. 'Hey shank, what's your age. You look to young to work here.'

Jungkook wasn't quit sure if he could trust everyone around here with his personal information, but who was he to judge a book by it's cover... right no one.

'I'm 17.'

'Woah, you're a youngster. Shouldn't you be in school?' The unknown person said.

'Shouldn't you be working right now?' The younger retorted.

'Nah, I'm assigned to give you a tour of this great factory.' He said sarcastically.

'Oh okey.' Jungkook was never good with his words until he trusted a person. You could call him and extroverted introvert.

'I'm Jackson by the way, nice to meet you!'

And so his new life began, a life which he would soon learn wasn't as easy as it seemed.
