September 4th - Monday
To say Jungkook's first day at the factory was exhausting, was an understatement. He had never worked so hard before in is life. He definitely wasn't a weak person, as he previously worked on a farm for his parents. But this work definitely was not meant for a 17 year old Jungkook.

He was a writer, a thinker, a poet. But he most definitely wasn't a coal worker. It made him unhappy, he wanted to go to a university and get education.

But Jungkook had to stay grateful. He was safe, he had a roof above his head and he found himself in the city of love. He was thankful for his allotment in this imperfect world. Though better circumstances could be imagined, far worse are nearer misses than people probably care to realize.

So when he came home after a long day of work at the factory, he sprinted to his phone. And contacted Woosung's number.

'Hey youngster, how are you doing there?' Woosung spoke through the phone as soon as he picked up.

'Hyung! Paris is so beautiful. Namjoon isn't to bad either.' This made the elder laugh.

'And did you already make one of the infamous walks through the streets of Paris?' Woosung asked.

'Yes! It was wonderful, the people here are so interesting. Namjoon and I had to walk to the factory together. We didn't talk much, but it didn't bother me that much, it gave me enough time to appreciate the streets of Paris. You know hyung, a walk through Paris will provide lessons in history, beauty, and in the point of life.'

'I already miss your perceptions of the world around you Kook.' The younger heared that his older brother was sad. He knew him longer than today.

Jungkook sighed, 'I miss you too hyung, how is everything going home, with our parents and stuff... are they mad?'

'It's bearable, but there definitely not happy with your disappearance. But don't worry about us, I want to hear more about your adventures.' Woosung answered.

'Well.. working at the factory is quite exhausting, but I have to be grateful. You're still there and I'm somewhat free.' Jungkook said. He continued, 'where is Yoongi, hyung?'

'He's working on the farm, I'm sorry if you also wanted to talk to him.' Woosung said back.

'No it's fine, just heading your voice is enough.'

They talked for almost an hour, but then Woosung had to say goodbye, his parents came to visit his apartment. Jungkook knew they wouldn't just visit him, it would be a beating. Those always happend on Mondays.

Instead of being sad about it, Jungkook seeked for a distraction. He still wanted to call Taehyung, as he forgot to call yesterday.

As he walked to the small balcony of the apartment, he searched for the redhead's number. His balcony was definitely built for one person, but as he was the only one home at that time, he found himself sitting on a little chair outside. The streets of Paris looked even prettier overnight.

'Hello? Taehyung right?' Jungkook spoke up first, since he was the person who called.

'Hi! Yes it's Taehyung, how are you?'

'I'm doing just fine, what are you doing now?' Jungkook asked.

'I was playing overwatch with my friends, and now i'm calling with you.' Taehyung answered back.

'Oh, did I interrupt something?'

'No, no you didn't, besides I have been playing overwatch for the past couple of hours, I'm kinda done with it.' Taehyung confessed.

'Okey, good. Are you with them now?'

'No I'm on my balcony, Paris is astonishing in the evening.'

'Astonishing, I like that word. It suits Paris better that the word beautiful I guess.' Jungkook remarked.

'Why?' Taehyung asked.

'Well people easily call unimportant things Beautiful, it's like the first word you come up with. Astonishing, not many people use that word anymore. It makes the thing your talking about feel special, not just average. Do you understand?'

'Woah, yeah I get it. You sound really smart when you're talking like that, you know.'

'Hahah, thanks I guess. My mouth has a mind of it own sometimes. When the words start, they won't end fast.' Jungkook confessed.

This made Taehyung laugh. He really wanted to meet up with the younger to hear more of his stories.

'Jungkook? Can I ask you something?'

'Yeah sure, is something wrong?' Jungkook asked worried as he snuggled a bit closer in the warmth of his own warm sweater.

'No, no! Nothing is wrong, I just wondered if you wanted to meet up sometime? I would love to meet you again.' The redhead mentally patted himself because he asked the question without stuttering.

'Yeah sure, sounds like a good plan! I'm only available in the weekend tho.. you know with, uhm.. school.' Jungkook answered back.

'Saturday?'

'Saturday sounds good to me' The younger said while grinning like a madman.

'Taehyung!!! Where are you, are you coming? We are going to dormir, uhm I mean sleep, Yeah sleep! We don't need to repeat this morning, now do we?' Elliot yelled from god knows where.

'Yeah I'm coming Elliot, don't worry!' Taehyung yelled back.

'What was that?' Jungkook asked from the other side of the line.

'That's Elliot, my roommate. He want's me to go to sleep, we almost overslept this morning and he's not letting that happen again.' Taehyung said whilst grinning. It was quit a funny story.

'Well goodnight then Tae.'

'Goodnight Kook, can you also call tomorrow? This was a little short, right?'

'I would love to.' Jungkook said.

'Okey, bye.'

'Bye.' With that Jungkook hang up on Taehyung.

Was he blushing? No, it was just the warmth of the sweater he was wearing.

Sitting there, alone in a foreign country, looking over the unfamiliar streets of the city, far from his home and everyone he knew, a feeling came over him. It was like remembering something he'd never known before or had always been waiting for, but he didn't know what. Maybe it was something he'd forgotten or something he had been missing all his life. All he could say is that he felt, at the same time, joy and sadness. But not too much sadness, because he felt alive. Yes, alive. That was the moment he fell in love with Paris. And he felt Paris fall in love with him.
