They have a history. Demi Lovato and Selena Style's friendship is anything but simple. The two have been friends—on and off—for more than a decade years and have experienced several phases of their careers together, from their Barney days to their Disney Channel years to their current lives as mega-pop-stars and tabloid fixations. And like most longterm relationships, Lovato and Styles have had their complications. There have been breakups, makeups and everything in between. There's been shade thrown and compliments given. But at the end of the day, the longtime friends always seem to find a way back to each other.
For those of us who grew up in the late '00s, Lovato and Styles were the pinnacle of friendship. They walked red carpets together, gave interviews together and vlogged funny inside jokes that only best friends knew. But over the years, the singers have grown apart. They've unfollowed (and refollowed) each other on social media and made new and closer friends along the way. We didn't know if they were currently in the talking stage), but judging from their history, we had a feeling that they'd reconcile someday and that day happens to be TODAY!

We did have a lot of issues in the past and the world had questioned our friendship countless times and yes I will like to admit that I wasn't the greatest friend to @ddlovato but things have changed for the better and we are adults who now know the importance of relationships. I guess we can finally say that our once favourite Barney and Disney stars are no longer feuding and are once again happy and in touch with each other. An insider revealed that the two had met up in their secret favourite coffee shop and had a heart to heart conversation of how much they missed each other and why their friendship had gone through so much hardship in the past. The stars had agreed that they both were absent at important times in each others lives and were willing to pick up from where they left off as best friends, they also agreed to make things work between them by voicing out their problems to each other instead of taking issues to a third party which they had done a lot in the past.
Demi and Selena fans have shown a lot of excitement and a lot of us are waiting to see what these two's journey to life together would be like.
