suzie, do you copy? (part 2)

After the movie I have to go home. I hug Will tightly. "Seeya tomorrow Will the wise!" I say and hug max and Lucas. I start walking home. I was walking for like 10 minutes before I reached the road. This is gonna take forever. Will rides up. "Youre gonna be walking all night aren't you?" I nod. "Yeppers. Mike the doofus broke my bike chain somehow." "Come on. Get on." I hopon the back of hisbike without hesitation. "Thanks Willy Will" "youre never stop with that are you?" "Nope. You love it though, you always smile." I wrap my arms around his waist and lay my head on his back. "Yeah. Ok. Let's get you home." He starts riding. He speeds up and we're going pretty fast now. I tighten my grip on him. He goes faster. "Will!! Are you wanting me to suffocate you?!" "No, but I need to hurry or my mom'll get worried." "Oh yeah. She's still pretty protective over you isn't she?" He nods. We arrive at my house. I get off. "Bye Will the wise!" I say and run inside. "Im home!" I say. Hopper is asleep in the recliner. Our room light is on. I burst in the room. Mike snuck over and climbed through the window. They were kissing. Of course. I gag and turn off the light. "What the h***!!!" Mike says. He gets up andturns the light on. I turn it off. Hrturns it back on. This goes on for about another 2 minutes. And then iturn it off and push him so I can get to my bed. Ugh he's so annoying!! If all asleep soon enough though.

Mike POV

Alissa barges in the room. She gags at us kissing abd turns off the light. Im not having this. I get up and turn it back on. She turns it back off. I have no idea how long this goes on, but she gets sick of it. She turns it off and pushes me. And then she goes to her bed and lays down. Soon enough, I hear her soft snores. Ugh she's all annoying!! "Ihave to go, but you're coming to dustins tomorrow right?" I whisper. She nods. I kiss her one last time and leave. I grab my bike and ride home. I'll have to clean my bike seat since Alissa sat there. When I get home, my mom is waiting. "Where in the world have you been Michael?! I was worried sick!!" "I'm sorry mom. But the movie ran late from the power outage." "Ok. The blackout was the reason you were late?" I nod. "Ok then. Go to bed." I go to my room and go to bed.

Alissa POV

I wake up the next morning and go out to the shed. I have to try and fix my bike. I see whats wrong. The chain snapped in half and the handlbars are bent way out of shape from when he crasged into me. Somehow his bike survived without a scratch. I walk back inside. "Hopper!!" "Yeah Alissa?" "My bike is broken beyond repair!!! Can you get me a new one?" "I'll try to!!" I walked with el to dustins house. They were waiting there impatiently. "What took y'all so long?! Why haven't you fixed your f***ing bike yet?!" Mike yelled at us. Mostly me. "Well, Mike!!! If you hadn't crashed straight into my bike, it wouldn't be broken beyond repair!!!! And now I have to wait God knows how long to get a new one!!!! So thank you a**hole!!!!" I tell back at him while the others backed away. They knew I had snapped. "Well you should have watched where you were going!!!" "I was!!! You saw me passing by and you took the chance to ride straight into the side of my bike!!!!!! i f***in hate you Mike Wheeler!!!! I hate you and I never want to see you again!!!!" I say in tears now. I turn and run away towards I don't even know where.

Mike POV

"I hate you Mike Wheeler!!!! I hate you abd I never wanna see you again!!!!" She yelled at me. She had tears running down her face. She turned away from us and ran. I think I did something to horrible to fix. I turned to the rest of the party. "Come on, Dustin will be here any minute." We all walked inside abd started our plan.

Alissa POV

I waa running and running until I saw there. I had no idea where I was. I look around and saw all of Hawkins. I was at the highest point in Hawkins. The 100 meter hill. I sat down and cried.

I have no idea how long I was crying, but now I felt someone wrap there arms around me. I didn't care who it was, I just hugged them back. I looked up and saw Will. I slightly smiled at him. I saw Dustin in the back. "Thanks for the hug Willy Will. Dustin!!" I say letting go of Will and running over to Dustin. I gave him a big hug. "You have no idea how much I missed you!" He was my second favorite of the boys. I let go of him. "How were you and Will without me to brighten y'alls day?" He asked. "We did better without you." He pretended to die. I looked at all the stuff they brought. "What's that? It looks like a bunch of peices of a radio tower." I say. "Its an unassembled radio tower. So I can talk to my girlfriend Suzie" my eyes widen. "Girlfriend?!" He nods. I help them assemble the tower. Dustin sits down. "Suzie, do you copy? It's Dustin." He continued this for about 3 hours.

"Suzie. Do you copy?" "Dustin! She isn't there! Or maybe she doesn't exist!" Lucas says. They start arguing. Me and will sit off to the side rolling our eyes. "Come on Don Juan." Max says and her and lucas leave. Me and Will stand up. "I guess it's just you 2 and me." "Its late...i should get home. Maybe tomorrow we can play end or something fun like we used to." Will satsans he leaves. "Are you leaving too?" I nod. "I'm sorry. My bike is broken so I have to walk everywhere. I believe you though. I believe suzie is real. I wouldn't dought you. Friends don't lie and you're the main one that follows that rule." I say. He nods. "Since friends don't lie, why were you crying" "I snapped. I finally snapped at Mike." His eyes widen. "I knew it would happen sooner or later." I nod and leave. I catch up with Will. He doesn't notice. Irun and jump onto his back. "Will the wise!!" I yell in his ear. He shocked and almost falls. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack and hearing loss?" I Giggle and get off. "I'll see ya tomorrow Will the Wise." I hug him and run home.

I walk inside and walk into mine and el's room. I grab my pillow and blanket right when I see Mike in there. "I'll sleep in the living room." Hopper walks in as im about to walk out. "Where are you going young lady?" He asks me. "The living room. I'm starting to get nauseous when I'm near Mike." "Well, sit beside el. I need to talk to all of you about mike and el's relationship." "What does it have to do with me?" "Just listen. If you don't sit down-" "what? I just wanna go sleep!" "-fine. Sit by Mike." He pushes me down beside Mike. "Well s***." I say starting to feel like I'm gonna puke. I can feel the bike rise in my throat. I pushed it down and listened to Hopper. "I-uh-mike. Your mom wants you home right away." "Why, whats wrong?" Mike replies. "Its your grandma. Alissa, you're going to drive with us." "What?! Why?!" I say. "This has nothing to do with me! This is about their disgusting make-out relationship!" I say. Hopper gives me a look that says 'just do it'. Me and Mike get up and follow Hopper. "Good job mike. You somehow got me in trouble!" I whisper to him. He glares at me. "Whats wrong with nana? Is she sick? Did she fall again? Does she have cancer?" "No. No. No. Nothing is wrong with nana!" Mike gets in the front seat. I go to get in the backseat, but Hopper pushes me into the front with Mike. "What the h*** hopper?!" I yell. "Yeah Hopper! What the h***?!" Mike said. "Laanguage! And y'all are gonna learn to get along!" Hopper went inside and came back a few minutes later with my pillow and blanket. And a bag of clothes and neccesities. "Oh my gosh." I say. I'm really uncomfortable because the front is for 2 people, so Hopper is making me and Mike share a seat. We are squished together. "What is it?" Mike asked. I can tell he is uncomfortable as well. "Hopper. Hes bringing my pillow, blanket, and bag. As in sleepover bag." His face turned white and his eyes widen. "No. No!" He looks out the Window. "S***!" I nod. "This is bad. He wants you and el apart and me and you to get along. Why is he doing this?" I said a bit scared and a lot annoyed. I started hyperventilating a bit from claustrophobia. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked kinda concerned. I struggle with the lock and open the car door. I get out and breath deeply. I finally have a bit of personal space. Hopper put my stuff in the backseat. "Get back in the car. Now." I took one more deep breath and got back in the car beside Mike. I hated this. I hated him. Mike. I hated Mike. But i had to deal with him the whole night. "Ok Mike. Alissa. I'm going to speak and y'all are going to listen. And by the end of it, maybe we can work out an agreement. Ok?" I was hyperventilating. "Hop, can I please sit in the back? My claustrophobia is acting up!" I say. "You have claustrophobia? That's stupid." Mike said and I was literally full on hyperventilating. "We'll be at the Wheeler house soon. You'll be staying the night there." I let the window down. He started the car. "You're crazy!" Mike says to Hopper. "Crazy? You wanna see real crazy? You disrespect me again." He starts driving. I'm really uncomfortable with my left side literally squished to Mike's right side.

When we get there, I open the door and jump out. I get on my knees and taje deep breaths. Mike gets out after me. Hopper grabs my stuff from the backseat. "Mike, get alissa." Mike nods. Me and Mike had to become friends. Mike kneeled down next to me. "Are you ok?" I nodded. He got up and held out his hand. I took it and a weird feeling went through my arm. I ignored it. He pulled me up and we went up to the door. Mrs Wheeler opened it. "Hi. Is something wrong?" She asked. Hopper looked at Mike. "No mom. Um...i hope its ok but alissa's spending the night. So wecan learn to get along." "Thats fine. Y'all can sleep in the basement." She let us in. Hopper handed us my stuff abd Mike took me to the basement. We layed my stuff on the couch and sat beside each other. "Soooo.....this is awkward for some reason..." Mike said. I laugh. "Yeah. What're your favorite things?" I said. He started naming them and we actually had a bit in common. "Now you." "Well, there's food. Music. Books. Friends. Family. Except for the shadow monster." I continue listing things. "So, you aren't secretly dating Will?" I slap his shoulder. "No!" He laughs. "Ok." I yawn. "I'm sleepy. You?" He nodded. We set up a fort like the one he said he made El. We climbed in and layed down. Soon I heard him snoring. I fell asleep right after.
