Mike and the others had found Alissa shortly after the monster had fallen, dead. She had many cuts and gashes all over her body. And one thing that made them burst into tears. She had one of the monster's tongues stuck to her chest. Blood was leaking and gushing from the wound. She had no pulse. She was dead. El and Mike comforted each other while Jonathon and steve pulled her body out of the monster, and pylled the tongue out of her chest. One hand was open, revealing nothing but a bloody palm, and the other was in a loose fist. Jonathon and steve picked her up and a paper fell out of the fist. Mike picked it up and unfolded it.

Dear everyone that went throygh this with me.
I knew I would have to do this. And I knew this meant leaving you all behind. I love you. I love you all. I may be dead if you're reading this. But I'm still here. I always hve been. That little voice you hear, thats always been me. Even before you all met me, I was with y'all. I may not be the most amazing, but I hope what I did helped. And while you are reading this, im here. But when you read this, know im gone. Don't cry, just look to the sky, and say goodbye.
Love, Alissa.

Over the next three days, they found Hopper had died. (Not dead) and they had her funeral. Not much, but to themb it was everything. She was gone. And always will be. Everyone left the grave, except Mike. Before he left, he looked at the sky, wiping his tears away. "Goodbye, Alissa." Was all he said and left.
