"Dude, your house is huge! Why didn't you invite us over sooner?" I hear a deep voice say from the entryway. I didn't dare go look though, I already knew who they were. It was Ethan's baseball team. They had come over after a late practice and surprisingly it would be their first time over.
To say the least, I wasn't very fond of the team, considering the fact that they were the ones who had Ethan coming home every other night ready to pass out, I had a silent hatred for them that ran deeper than my desire to punch each of them in their smug and handsome faces. But that wasn't the reason I would come out of my room to greet them.
They went to my school, or my former school, and I'm sure everyone already knows the news of my attempt. I didn't want to ruin Ethan's image, or my image, even more than it has already been damaged quite a bit, and it's my fault. I'm almost positive that everyone at school probably thinks I'm psychotic and should be in a mental hospital.
So no, I am not going to even poke my head out of my room to get a sneak peak of which douchebags were over in my home. Hopefully, they will not get drunk with Hannah and Peter in the house. My parents went out on a little dinner date to try and distract themselves, and now I'm wishing they would've taken me with them.
I hear the booming footsteps walk pass my door and down the hallway. They stop, and a door opens- probably Ethan's door- and the footsteps walk into the room, "Wow your room is fucking awesome! You even have a minifridge? What's in it?" I hear someone say down the hallway.
God, why are they so loud? I thought in my head, but I look up to try and hear anything else, I used to like the quiet in the house when I arrived, but now it was just becoming unbearable. It used to never be quiet in my home before and now it seems like no one lives here at all.
I hear my older brother laugh, something that I haven't heard in a long time that it brought a smile to my face, "Chill, Alex, it's just a minifridge, it's not my walls are painted with gold," he says to his friend.
"Are all your rooms this cool? Noah! Come check out his room!" Alex -well I think it's Alex- shouts down the hallway.
Noah? Who's Noah? I thought. I don't remember a Noah on the team, and I would remember since I sat at lunch with the annoying pigs every day with Ethan, but I don't recall a Noah.
Another set of footsteps walk down the hallway and stop at my door. I feel a shiver run down my spine as my heart skips a beat.
"What's in this door?" A new voice says, referring to my door. I back slowly up on my bed until I felt my back hit the headboard. Trying to not make any noise I grab my phone and plug in my earbuds, then put each earpiece in. I didn't turn on any music, but just in case someone happened to open my door, I could pretend that I couldn't hear them in the hallway if they ever asked.
"Oh, it's just the guest bedroom," I hear my brother say but I do not want to give a sigh of relief just yet.
"Well, I'm a guest," I hear Alex say and I hear my door creak open to see two tall handsome guys standing in my doorway.
Now, if I were a normal girl I would've worried about what I looked like and then regretted that I didn't put on that one purple sweater that my best friend had given me, but I didn't have a purple sweater, best friend, or even a normal life. So, I just stood there instead, looking at the two boys in my doorway who looked surprised.
Alex was about two or three inches taller than who I think is Noah. Alex had bright blonde hair that swished over his blue eyes just a bit and Sunkissed skin. Noah had tanned skin and ginger hair with big green eyes that many girls probably loved, and many guys probably wished they had. They both were obviously fit form the fitted shirts that they wore, and they were both attractive, but I didn't recognize Noah like I did Alex.
