Chapter 35- Faceoff

Next morning nandini woke up and looked towards manik who was sleeping with a frown on his face. Tears start pouring from her eyes.

Nan (to herself): I can't let anyone to harm you manik.

She left to get ready and manik opened his eyes and looked at her retreating figure.

As she entered the the washroom manik called someone and told the person something and cut the call.

He got up and stood in the balcony thinking why nandini behaving such.

Nandini came after freshening up and went towards the dressing area and combed her hair and took the vermilion box and went to manik.

Manik looked at her then her hand which was holding the vermilion box. He took a pinch of vermilion and filled her hairline and went from there to get ready.

Nandini knew manik is still thinking about her last night behavior but she had can't risk manik's life as if he got to know about Madhyam he wont let her go and his life would be in danger.

She then went downstairs and went towards the temple.

Nan (praying): hey bhagwan main janti hu main jo kuch bhi kar rahi hu galat hai par bhagwan main manik ki jaan khatre mein nahi daal sakti.

After this she went to check for breakfast and after breakfast everyone left for their works.

As nandini sat in the car her phone beeped from a message. She checked and saw it was an unknown number.

The message was from madhyam saying to meet her on the cliff at the outskirts of Mumbai if she wants to save her husband.

She sighed and start the car and went to there.

On other side manik was in his cabin and called khushi.

Man: hi khushi

Khu: hello jiju aap itne subah kuch kaam tha?

Man: ha mujhe puchna tha aaj nandini ki kitni appointments hai?

Khu: appointments par jiju aaj toh nandini hospital aai hi nahi hai usne aapko nahi btaya?

Man: oh ha usne bataya tha tha par mere dimaag se nikal gaya sorry.

Saying this he cuts the call and called his pa aman.

Aman came and stood infront of him.

Man: aman maine jo kaam bola tha woh ho gaya?

Am: yes sir Malhotras ki jitni cars hai unme sabme gps tracking systems hai aur unki live locations aapke laptop par hai.

Man: good now you can go.

Aman left the cabin and manik opened his laptop and saw nandini's car location and saw her going towards the outskirts. Now he was sure there is some problem going.

He immediately picked up his blazer and left from there.

While nandini reached the cliff where Madhyam had called her.

She came out of the car and started looking here and there.

She was finding madhyam when there came a voice from behind.

Maddy: wow wow look who's here Mrs Manik Malhotra. Well manna parega kya pyaar hai apne pyaar bachane ke liye khud marne aa gayi not bad.

Nan: what do you want you jerk? Kya chahte ho tum?

Maddy: well main kuch zayada nahi chahta bas tumhare pati ki barbadi that's it.

Nan: kyu kar rahe ho tum yeh sab? Aakhir kya milega yeh sab karke?
