Next morning nandini got up but was not able to move because of the sling on her hand. She looked towards manik who was sleeping so she didn't disturb him and tried to get up on her own.
She was almost successful but suddenly her free hand got hit by the side table and there was a loud noice due to which manik's sleep broke and when he saw nandini struggling in getting up he immediately got up and went to her side.
Man (worriedly): kya hua?
Nan: woh I need to go to washroom par iss sling ki wajah se I couldn't get up.
Man: toh mujhe utha sakti thi na lekin nahi tumhe toh sab kaam khud karna hai.
Nandini looked down and whispered a 'sorry'.
Manik huffed and helped her to get up and dropped her to the washroom telling her to infrom when she is done.
After sometime nandini was done so she called manik and manik picked her up and made her sat on the bed and was about to go when nandini hold his hand.
Nan: I am sorry manik please mujhse baat kijiye na please.
Man: nandini baat karne ko kuch nahi hai main kisi maid ko bhejta hu woh tumhe ready hone mein help karegi.
Nandini looked down and nodded and he went and after sometime a maid came who helped her to get ready while manik freshens up in guest room.
When he came back in room he saw nandini sitting there and maid was trying to make her eat but she was denying.
Manik sighs and enters the room.
Man: kya ho raha hai yaha?
Maid looked down without saying anything.
Nan: manik mujhe sabke saath naashta karna hai.
Man: nandini doctor ne tumhe bed rest bola hai.
Nan: ha toh bas neeche breakfast karne ke baad I'll rest.
Before manik could speak something raj bebe and arya entered the room with servants with their breakfast.
Bebe: aree humari bahu kuch mange aur woh pura na hi.
Raj: ha isliye aaj hum sab saath breakfast karenge.
Nandini smiled widely amd manik smiled seeing her happy but as soon as she looked towards him he hid his smile and sat on other side of bed and everyone sat on the couch and chairs kept there and start their breakfast.
But nandini was unable to eat by herself as on her right hand there was sling. Manik seeing her not able to eat snatched her spoon and fed her. Everyone smiled seeing them but frowns seeing manik not meeting eyes with nandini and nandini seeing manik with longing eyes.
After breakfast everyone went to their room to rest arya with raj went to pffice and manik decided to work from home.
Whole day passed like this manik was busy in his study working and nandini was resting. She tried alot to talk to manik but he was ignoring her.
It was night arya and raj returned and after dinner everyone dispersed to their rooms.
Manik was standing in the garden and was lost in his thoughts that's when raj came there and stood beside him.
Raj: manik
Manik came back to senses hearing raj's voice.
Man: dad aap yaha aap soye nahi.
Raj: tum bhi toh nahi soye na aur kya baat hai jo tumhe pareshaan kar rahi hai
Man: aisa aisa kuch nahi hai dad.
