Chapter 20 - Now we are fair!

It was early morning when nandini's sleep broke due to a phone call.

She still in sleep took the call.

Nan (sleepily): hello

Man: good morning baby!

She smiled widely hearing manik's voice first in the morning.

Nan: good morning manik!

Man: tum abhi tak so rhi ho cmmon get up.

Nan: hmm

Man: kya hua why are you sounding so low ha? Are you ok?

Nan: ha baba I am ok just thinking. Manik, will everything be fine today?

Man: yes. Everything will be fine today, not only fine but awesome.

Before she could speak there was knock on the door.

She cuts the call and went towards the door. She opened it to find a servant with her dress for haldi function.

She took it and went to get ready.

Nandini's outfit

All girls came to her room and took her for haldi.

Everyone was applying haldi but nandini was very sad. There was no bridal glow and happiness on her face.

Suddenly someone shouted nandini's name and nandini looked at the person.

Nan: khushi

Khushi immediately came towards nandini and hugged her tightly and nandini also hugged her back with a wide smile.

At the same time arnav also came in the lawn area where the haldi function was held.

Ar: khushi

Nan: tu aab aa rhi hai Khushi seriously itni late.

Khu: I am so sorry nandini hum pehle nahi aa paye woh babuji ki tabiyat achanak kharab ho gayi thi.

Nan: aab kaise hai uncle?

Khu: aab better hai.

Nandini nodded.

Khu: achha ek baat batao tumhara woh lad governer khadoos bhai toh nahi hai na yaha I mean abhi.

Before she could speak further someone cleared his throat from back.

She tightly closed her eyes and turned back.

Khu: s..so.. sorry sir woh main

Nandini was anyhow controlling his laughter seeing her p.a. cum best friend so scared of her brother.

And on other side arnav was fully enjoying khushi's expression but he didn't showed up on his face.
