Days became weeks.
He always picked Rain up, tapos pupunta sila sa iba't ibang cafes or restaurants for appointments o kaya tambay lang sila sa opisina. He was like the boss.
"You all right?" She's typing something on her laptop. Maraming pinagawa sa kanya si Aubrey.
"Shhh. You're disturbing me." Rain said trying to stay focus on what she's doing. Ian tried to get her attention, but he failed. He failed and waited for her to finish up.
"Ian," Ani Rain. Ian looked at her. "What's your full name? Rain asked then closed her laptop.
"Bakit ngayon mo lang kasi tanungin. You didn't bother to ask. You are focused on your work." He gave her a sad face. Rain just gave him a smile.
"C'mon, what's your name?" Inayos niya yung pagkakaupo niya.
"Ian." He smirked.
"Full name."
"--Perez." Sagot nito.
Rain gave her an assuring look. "Perez..." She whispered and leaned on her seat.
"Do you have friends, Ian?" Tanong ulit ni Rain. Ian shook his head.
"Wala? Ang lungkot mo naman. Eh, sino ang kasama mo kapag wala ako? Do you even have parents?"
"Wala." He answered. Rain was trying to read his eyes but the thinks Ian is telling the truth. She can feel Ian sad, sometimes. Kaya pinapatawa na lang niya ito. Minsan magjojoke siya ng waley. O kaya naman ililibre niya ito.
AFTER DROPPING of Rain, Ian felt his phone vibrating under his seat. May maliit na compartment sa ilalim nito where he hides his cellphone and wallet.
"Mum?"
"Hijo, come home. Her mum begged.
Ian smiled and sighed. "Okay, mum. On my way." He can't say no to the women he loved.
"Oh! Thank you, son! I love you, mag-iingat ka." His mother exclaimed and ended the call. His sisters, mum and dad.
He saw his 18 year old sister running out of the kitchen and hugged him tight.
"Kuya, I miss youu! Pleaseee?" His sister, Cassandra or Cassie, pleased while hugging him.
He can't ignore that puppy face if hers and she's not letting go from her hug.
"Wala ka bang friends? Na dumadalaw dito sayo?" Tanong ni Ian sa kapatid.
"I have. But Papá won't let them in because they are boys, but they're gay, Kuya!" She explained.
