The Meeting

Honey Lemon's POV

I went into the coffeeshop i took a selfie at earlier and decided that I could go for a latte. As I was standing in line, I looked around the shop to keep myself occupied and then the doors opened, it was Tadashi. I felt my heart flutter a bit and, out of instinct, I waved to him. He saw me and began to walk toward me, with a small smile that lit up his whole face which killed me a little inside.

"Hey honey lemon" he said, hand in his hair

"Hey tadashi", i said while trying to sound casual "so what brings you here?"

"Well i wanted to grab some coffee to keep myself awake for my project, but since i'm taking a break i thought i could hang out with you, get to know you more."

"I would absolutely LOVE that! Let's get our coffees to-go so i can accompany you to wherever you're doing your project"

Tadashi's POV

So we were walking down the campus, coffee in hand, just chatting and laughing.

"So, what's your major" i asked

"Oh, i'm in chemistry! It's really hard at first but then you just learn to love the flow, the procedure, the elements, everything really" she said with a wistful smile

Woah, i thought, this girl has such a beautiful mind too. I ended up staring at her for a while with a smile slowly creeping up my face.

Honey noticed.

"What's wrong? Is there something on my face?" she said with a worried look

"Oh, no, nothing is wrong. I was just thinking about something"

"What?"

"How about you join me and my friends at the lab? This is where we work, pushing the boundaries of each of our fields. It's where i'm also working on my project"

"OH MY GOSH YEAH THAT WOULD BE SO MUCH FUN!" she shouted

Then she hugged me really tight and i could feel myself blush

"Ok, ok let's take a selfie! I have to remember this moment!" She said while taking out her phone

"Say SFIT!"

While she was putting her phone back in her purse, our fingers accidentally brushed one another. I could feel myself blush again and we both looked away from each other. The rest of the walk to the lab was done in silence but i couldn't help but smile to myself in the other direction.
