Honey Lemon's POV

I'm wearing Tadashi's gift to the lab today and I absolutely LOVE them. I usually only wore them when I was working on my projects but they were so nice I couldn't just limit it to when I work. So I've been thinking about giving him a gift in return. Then it hit me. I ran right away to buy the gift

"I hope he'll like my gift" I thought to myself

I bit my lip in excitement as I was walking to the lab and when I got there, everyone was already there including Tadashi. I quickly hid the gift behind my back and, of course, Tadashi was the first to notice me.

"Hey honey, what have you got there?" he asked

I blushed a bit

"Oh, um, nothing!" I said, trying but failing to act normal

He raised an eyebrow

"Does it look like I was born yesterday?"

I sighed

"Can we go to your room? It won't take long"

"Sure"

When we got there, I instantly saw that he was really serious about working on Baymax: papers strewn everywhere, crumpled blueprints, pots of coffee and a lot of other things (were those shirts on the floor? Best not ask) but he was focused on me at the moment.

"So? What do you have that's so important that we had to go to my room?" he said with a sly grin

I blushed

"Well, since you gave me a gift, I decided to give you one as well"

I handed him the package with a note that said, 'To Tadashi, I really hope you like this even if it's simple and remember that I'm not giving up on you :) <3 Honey' . He began to smile so wide that I ended up smiling as well. When he opened it, he just ran up to me, gave me a long, tight hug and a kiss on the cheek.

" Thank you so much honey,I love it" he said

His arms hugging the small of my back and mine hanging loosely around his neck.

"Oh, it was no trouble really and I'm so happy you like it" I said, smiling and my face turning redder by the second

Then he gave me another quick kiss on the cheek which caused me to blush harder.

Then I left the room, to see that the whole lab was quiet and looking at me

Tadashi's POV

Wow, I really love the cap honey gave me. It's got the SFIT sports teams' logo on the front. Even if I love science, I'm also really interested in sports and my favorite teams are all from SFIT because they taught me all about determination and perseverance and now I can keep myself motivated. I put the cap on and just sat there on my desk. Strangely enough, my thoughts went to honey and how she's just so... beautiful. For about 10 whole minutes, I was just thinking of her when I suddenly remembered that I had a project to continue. So I began working, never taking the cap off for even a second.

Honey Lemon' POV

Later that night, I had my first test run on my project.

"So, this is the first trial run of my project on chemical metal embrittlement. Let's do this ..." I said to the camera (we're all required to record our test runs). I sprayed it around the sphere, gave it a zap and... it didn't work. The spray stuck to it but when I touched it, it didn't explode. I now have a pink ball of bronze. Great. I pressed 'stop' on the camera and just went down on my knees. I wanted to cry so badly but I had to keep up my optimism so I just kind of stared at it. Everyone was already leaving and they were all giving me pats on the shoulder and sorry looks.

"You'll do better next time" Wasabi said

"Yeah honey lemon, you'll pull through" Fred said

Gogo just muttered a "sorry".

When they all left, Tadashi just ran out and gave me a big hug. It seemed to last for a long time but I didn't want to leave. I just buried my head in his chest, trying to make it last.

"I'm so sorry honey" he whispered

"It's really okay, I'll make it work" I whispered back

Then he gave me a small kiss on the top of my head

"I'm not giving up on you honey, I'm not giving up on you the same way way you aren't giving up on me"

I laugh a bit

"I like the sound of that"

"I also want to thank you again for my gift, I don't think I'll ever take it off but now I feel like I have to give you another gift" he said, laughing slightly

"You don't have to, you know"

"But I want to and you can't stop me" he said kissing the top of my head again
