The Next Day

Tadashi's POV

Well, it's official: me and Honey are together now. Today I walked with honey to the lab, our fingers intertwined. We were talking about our date which was tonight (thank god she was available because I couldn't wait)

"So, what are we doing tonight?" She asked excitedly

I gave her a playful smile

"I'm sorry honey but I'm keeping quiet until I pick you up"

"Tadasaasssshhhiii come on please tell me!"

"Nope, these lips are sealed until tonight honey" I said, zipping my lips

She shoved me pretty hard and proceeded to walk ahead of me so, naturally, I ran after her. I caught her hand and pulled her in, kissing the tip of her nose.

"Look, I'm sorry honey. If I told you what we were doing, you might not like it as much"

She sighed

"Fine, I guess I can live with that"

Then we began walking again but in silence and her head on my shoulder

Honey Lemon's POV

So I can't wait for tonight. At all. But I had to focus on my project at the moment, so I was really focused on what I was doing. I began calculating and solving so fast that I was finished in a jiffy.

"Ok, ok this ought to do it" I said, putting my papers in order.

So I got all the necessary chemicals and began mixing them according to my calculations. So I sprayed it on the metal test ball and... it failed. This time, the ball of metal turned into liquid. It was still an astounding result but not the one I wanted. I took of my glasses and just rubbed my eyes in frustration.

"Diyos mio, what am I doing wrong..."

Them I felt a hand hug my stomach

"It's fine honey, you're going to pull through" Tadashi said, kissing the top of my head
"My project isn't getting any better at the moment but I won't give up on it, and I won't give up on you either"

I turned to look at Tadashi.

"Oh Tadashi, you don't have to make me feel better, I'm just really frustrated but thanks for trying" giving him a smile. "We're both going to pull through, that's a promise"

When Tadashi went back to his room, the whole room looked at me.

"What?" I asked, my face turning pink

"Are you two, like, dating now or something?" GoGo asked

"They totally are, it's so obvious!" Fred shouted

"Guys" I said

"Hey, for all you know they're really good friends" Wasabi said

"GUYS" I had to say again

"Hey, LOOK at them they're all lovey-dovey and stuff..." Fred pointed out

"GUYS!" I shouted

That got their attention.

"Ok, I admit it, we are going on a date"

Fred screamed

"I ship you two so hard!"

I rolled my eyes

"Wow how is Tadashi not hearing any of this? Anyway, let's get back to work..."

Tadashi's POV

I heard everything happening outside. She just told everyone that we were dating and I'm just blushing so hard. Wow, I just love her so much. I got my guitar, turned on the camera and just sang away the song I would sing to her to someday.

Honey Lemon's POV

It was finally the end of the day. I gathered my stuff and knocked on Tadashi's door

"Tadashi, I'm going now. What time are you going to pick me up?"

"We're going right now" he said right as he opened the door

"What?! But I need to get ready, and I need to pick an outfi-" but I was interrupted by a kiss

"Honey, listen to me. I think you're the most beautiful girl on the planet. Even if you stayed in the wild for a week I would still think you're beautiful."

I blushed a bright red

"Ok, ok let's go" I said, reaching for his hand

Tadashi beamed, making me melt inside

"You won't be disappointed"

Tadashi's POV

So we finally got to our destination: the park. I knew that there wasn't a lot of people to disturb in the park when it was night time so we won't get so much unwanted attention. We finally reached the spot where we were going to have our first date, it was under a canopy of trees with lights strung up the trunks. There was a table for two with food already on it, surrounded by lit candelabras and rose petals scattered across the ground. The moonlight coming from above just sealed the deal and made everything look more magical than it already was.

"Oh Tadashi, you didn't have to go through so much trouble for our first date" she said taking everything in

"Like I said, I wanted our first date to be special" I said "Now let's dig in"

So I pulled her chair back so she could sit and then went to my own. She looked down at her plate and just gave me a smile that got me to smile as well.

"Ramen with extra fish cake and ice cream mochi?! Oh my gosh they're my favorites!" She said, taking big bites

After we ate, just sat in silence as we smiled at our hands which were intertwined with each other. Then after a while, I stood up.

"Where are you going?" Honey called after me

Them I picked up my guitar (I'm surprised she didn't notice that I was bringing it) and got her hand again.

"Where are we going this time?"

"Just over there..."

It was a wide clearing with the moon, perfectly round and bigger than usual, in perfect view. We both sat down, facing each other, and I began to strum the chords to "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" by Elvis Presley:

"Wise men say,
Only fools rush in
But I can't help
Falling in love with you"

As I continued to sing, honey just began to tear up and I could see her eyes twinkle in the moonlight. God, she is beautiful.

"For I can't help
Falling love with you"

I sang as I strummed the last few chords of the song. Honey didn't say any words but her lips crashed into mine, and kissing back was just too hard not to do. So we lay down on the grass and watch the sunrise.

"It's beautiful" honey whispered

"Just like you honey, just like you" I whispered back, kissing her forehead

I could feel my eyes getting heavy but I noticed that honey was getting sleepy too, so I let my eyes close and fell asleep with honey in my arms.
