Here it was, as we pulled off the main road and on the the bridge I put my iced coffee down in the cup holder and took my seat belt off, hoping to catch a better glimpse of this secluded yet beautiful lake style cabin. Johns black Range Rover pulled to a halt and he remained still. The sunroof was open and it began to snow a very minimal amount. Johns gaze fixed on me and then he asked "well what do you think lace? It's far enough away without being too far, it's only about 35 minutes from the city, and I will be staying in Jersey to film the rest of R.A.W so no need to worried I will be near by." And with that the locked doors on his SUV unlocked and we stepped out on to the crisp white layer beneath us. As I walked in front of the SUV John reached out for my hand, and we walked toward the house, snow sticking to my ankle booties and all.

It didn't help that it wasn't sunny out, it seemed very ominous. As we stepped in the cabin John shut the door, I began by looking up. This place was beautiful I hadn't seen anything like it! I was amazed and clearly it showed "it's not so bad is it lace" John said with a wink as soon as you walk in there's a beautiful wooden balcony over looking the front door. It was a very open concept, with lots of windows higher up, I assumed it was to let in the sunlight we didn't see. I loved the kitchen, it was an open concept that flourished into the living room and the beautiful & gigantic fire place.

So far John has done a fantastic job with this place I mean it would take some time to get used to for sure, and I didn't love all of the wood but this was home for now. And I would have to be accepting of the challenges that lay ahead. The bathroom was my favourite with a modern twist it definitely wanted things up, hopefully John was wanting to try out the new shower as much as I did 😉

It had heated floors and a jet setting in the tub, I would definitely spend most of my time here, in the bathtub. Not to mention the small sauna it had. Other then the snow I could grow to love this place, and the coffee shop 5 minutes away had the beat iced coffee I had ever entailed. As I wondered to the bed rooms I found two but one had a much larger bed, I assumed it was for John so I started to unpack my things into the other room, but I was suddenly stopped. "Hey Lacey, what do you think of it so far?" He asked almost nervously, "John, to be honest I didn't think I would like it this much, it's so beautiful it's like freedom and that coffee I had in the car I thought was going to be the best thing in this place but then I saw the bathroom" I winked at him as he blushed profoundly "yes we should try that out later, but what are you doing in this room? This is the guest room, our room is the next one over, we could always try this room, if you think I'll fit on this bed" as he gestures to the same bed I began to laugh and relocate my belongings. Hmm I didn't know WE were going to be staying here, things just may have gotten whole lot better.
