Luke

I remembered driving to her house, so I knew exactly where she lived. I grabbed my jacket from the hook and stormed out of the house, not bothering to lock the door behind me. I shoved past some street guys, getting loud 'yo's' and some nasty words. I clenched my fists, trying my best not to punch one of them square in the faces.

I walked faster, ignoring them, then this stupid guy yelled, "I bet your girlfriend hates your clingly ass." Even though Ellie wasn't my girlfriend, she slipped in my mind before anyone else. I looked at the guy who was at least five inches shorter than me, "What did you say?" I asked with the coldest voice I could manage.

He looked at my clenched fists, then he looked back at me with a smirk, "Your girlfriend hates your clingy ass." He repeated, which automatically caused my fists to smash into his jaw harder than ever, making him yelp and fall on his ass, I smirked back, "Sorry mate, better go get some help before you break another jaw."

I power-walked past the other gangs who stared at me fists like my fists suddenly turned into my crotch.

I knocked/banged on Ellie's front door, hearing loud yells and swear words, obviously from her dad. The door knob turned fast, and when the door opened, I didn't hesitate to shove past the drunk man with messy hair. Well, not exactly sure if he was drunk or whatsoever.

I walked past her mom who looked like she'd seen a ghost, and ran upstairs, stumbling on a couple of stairs. I sighed, gently knocking on each door until I found Ellie's room. She smiled weakly at me, which made me want to kick her dad in the nuts.

"Ellie.." I sighed, lifting her up with one hand and pulling her in my chest, she hugged back tighter, obviously glad that I was here. "Luke.." She said in the same tone, breaking the small hug. "You're leaving this place." I said, completely serious.

"What?" Her voice cracked, she shook her head, "No, no, no, that can't happen.."

I laughed sarcastically, "You get called names, then you still decide to live in a place like this?" I asked, looking at her straight in the eyes. She sighed, breaking the eye contact, "No, but-" I cut her off, "Ellie, what? You still don't know me yet? Well you clearly don't know your parents well enough then! They can't respect you once single bit, they don't deserve to have someone like you, and I don't either, but I like you loads, and I also think you deserve much better, I know this is crazy.. Moving in with a person who you barely know, but Ellie.." I sighed, intwining my fingers with hers, "You can always give it a try." She looked at me, totally speechless.

"Okay.." She bit her lip, chewing on it. "I guess it doesn't hurt to give it a try.." She smiled. "This is reality, Ellie, this isn't a fairy-tale, nothing's perfect, but you could try to make things better." I added, nodding my head.

She shrugged, "But you're like the boy in a fairy tale.." She smiled ruffling my hair. "How?" I laughed. "Well, you're pretty cute, and your personality is an A plus." She winked.

"Can I tell you a secret?" I wiggled my eyebrows at her. "What?" She giggled.

"I'm Prince Eric."
