Moma's POV
Today was the day that I've been so anxious about. I hope what I'm going to do today goes well. I can't risk ending a good relationship and a friendship. I told Derek that I'm going out with a friend until about 10 pm so that I can spend at least two hours with Jordan. Even though Jordan knows I have boyfriend I told him that I'm meeting up with Monica after the date.
Monica and I planned this very carefully. Since Derek is going to pick me up at my house, I'm going to drive to wherever Jordan is taking me so that he doesn't offer me a ride.
Honestly I'm excited and nervous. What if this thing doesn't work out? What if Derek finds out and thinks I'm cheating on him? No, positive thoughts Moma, positive thoughts.
It was only 2pm so Monica and I went to the mall to buy some snacks and extra accessories for tonight.
"Wifey, do you really think that you're gonna make it in time for your date with Derek?"
"Honestly...I don't know. If I just manage my time then I think I can."
"I hope so. Anyway, why are you going on the date with Jordan? Do you actually like him?"
"Jordan is just a friend."
"Yeah a hot one." We both laughed.
"But honestly. I do like him but I love Derek."
She gave me a weird look and we got into my car. We got some Krispy Kreme and ate in the car.

It was 6 pm so I decided to take a shower and so that Monica could help me with my hair and make-up before she leaves for her nail appointment. She did a plain and simple look (even tho she took a whole hour to actually finish) and she put my hair into a bun.
I got up from my chair and hugged her, well squeezed the living being out of her.
"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!" I placed kisses all over her face.
"Bitch you gone mess up yo make-up." She giggled, "Now put on the dress." I pointed at a box. "No that's the one you're gonna wear when you see Derek. Check in the pink box"I opened the box and couldn't believe my eyes. It was beautiful. It was a red off shoulder dress with a thigh high slit. I quickly put it on then Monica helped me put on my necklace then I put on my rings.
