"I think... I want to ask for a Premium Rare."

"A premium rare?" Mai asked, trying to remember what a premium rare even was. "Aren't those really... well, rare coords?"

Tsubaki nodded. "Exactly! If I manage to get one, I'll be one step closer to surpassing her."

Mai furrowed her eyebrows. "You're so mysterious."

"I am?"

"I still have no idea who you're so set on beating... or why."

Tsubaki sighed. "It doesn't matter."

"It seems like it matters to you..." Mai mumbled, but quickly perked up again. "A premium rare would be great though! You're really talented after all!"

In response, Tsubaki simply gave a small smile, and Mai gave an encouraging one in return.

A couple of days later, Mai, Hinata and Tsubaki were sat in the cafeteria, eating breakfast. However, Tsubaki was zoning out, staring at her phone.

"Tsubaki?" Mai asked, watching her friend, "are you okay?"

No response. Instead, Tsubaki's eyes remained on her phone. Mai turned to Hinata, who gave a somewhat determined expression.

"Hey, Silver Wing lookalike!" She shouted, ignoring Mai's expression becoming somewhat panicked. Tsubaki's head jolted up.

"What did you just-"

"Finally managed to get your attention," Hinata gave a smug smile. "Anyway, what's wrong?"

Annoyed, Tsubaki turned back to her phone. "Nothing's wrong." She quietly stated. "I'm just waiting for something."

Curious, the pink-haired girl tilted her head. "For what?"

Tsubaki gave a brief smile. "I requested to meet with the Top Designer of Prism Tiara about that premium rare. I'm waiting to see if he accepted."

Mai giggled. "I'm cheering for you!" She exclaimed, whilst Hinata seemed interested.

"You want a premium rare?" She asked, and Tsubaki nodded. The former raised an eyebrow. "Isn't Kasugano-san really picky about who he gives those to?"

"I'm not letting something like that hold me back." Tsubaki stated seriously, before smirking and poking Hinata, "Anyway, I hear Kagayaki-san's even stricter~"

Hinata's face turned red, as she pushed Tsubaki's hand away. "That's a problem for some other day!" She refuted, and Mai watched happily.

"Premium rares are made specifically for the idol, right?" she asked, "They sound nice~"

"But in order to get one, you need to prove to the top designer that it's worth their time," Tsubaki explained, finally putting her phone down. Hinata stood up.

"Which will be no problem for me!" she declared, "Kagayaki Melody will take one look at me and say 'Hina-sama, your radiance has inspired me! Here, have as many premium rares as you want!'"

The other two stayed silent for a second or two, until Tsubaki rolled her eyes. "You tell yourself that."

Unsatisfied with that response, Hinata sat back down, pouting. "Well, it's the truth! Tell her, Mai-chan!" She looked towards Mai, who turned red.

"I-it's not very realistic, b-but...!" she took a deep breath, trying to calm down. "Please don't put me on the spot like that..."

Suddenly, there was a small chime sound. Tsubaki unlocked her phone and read through the message. The other two waited intently.
