I'm laying in a hospital bed with bandages all over me. I'm no longer in pain because of the painkillers the doctor gave me. I only have three broken ribs and a lot of bruises everywhere.
After much convincing, Jordan and my dad went home to get some rest, but stubborn Ashton and Aiden insisted on staying.
I swear people who's names start with A are the most stubborn people ever. Please remind me that if I have a child to never give them a name starting with A.
I really don't see the point in Ashton staying, cause he's just sleeping on the rather uncomfortable chair in my hospital room.🤦
Mia and Amy are still in the waiting room, they were previously in here hurting my wounds by cracking me up with jokes.
And if you're wondering.... No, I didn't get my cheeseburger, I can't eat anything solid as yet.
"So you're telling me she was about to switch you out for Aiden and a Mia borrowed a camper's frying pan and smacked her in the back of her head?!" Amy asked dumbfounded and Aiden nodded.
"Oh so that's why she fell." I said giving it some thought. Makes sense.
"But what I don't get is why this lady was camping in December." Mia asked. "But hey, her frying pan came in handy. Even better than a baseball bat."
Ok wait... No it doesn't make sense. Who camps with a frying pan? And in the middle of December? Days before Christmas?
"I don't know but the point is her frying pan me from getting Brianna cooties." We all laugh at Aiden's statement. What made it even funnier is the fact that he was dead serious.
"What's so funny?" He folded his arms, pouting like a little child.
"The fact that you believe that cooties are real." I laughed.
"And the fact that you're thankfully that you didn't get cooties instead of being thankful for the fact that Kayla didn't die." Amy spoke.
"And the fact that you're thanking the frying pan and not the amazing girl who used it." Mia scoffed.
"Hey, cooties is very much real, and of course I'm thankful Kayla's okay." He winked at me. "But we're talking about a deadly disease people!" He was serious again.
"So why did you kiss me?" I challenge.
He turned completely red. "Well you see... You're special." He looked deep into my eyes, all jokes aside.
This made me blush like crazy.
"Okay this is where we leave, before the babies are implanted." Mia turned disgusted. "C'mon, out we go." She pushed Amy towards the door, smacking a sleeping Ashton's head on her way to the door.
He jumped out of his chair confused. "Huh?" His eyes were red from exhaustion.
"Out let the couple get some space." She dragged Ashton out, him still confused.
She sent me one final wink before closing the door. But that didn't stop me from hearing her smacking Ashton's head again, an "Ouch!" following right after.
This made us chuckle. My friends are a handful of crazy.
"Now that they're gone, wanna get started on those babies?" I smirked playfully.
"Oh darling, we wouldn't want you bruising in more places now would we?" He winked at me. I couldn't help it, I'm sure my face is as red as a tomato right about now. Is it a bad thing that want to say yes to that question?
"I'm sure I can take it." I leaned forward and pecked his lips, leaving him in utter shock. He bit his lip and groaned slightly.
"I bet you can. But I'd stop before this goes further if I were you. How bad would it look for the nurses to walk in on you screaming my name while pinned against the wall?" He licked his lips, lighting a fire in my stomach.
