You've probably all heard by now that PJO is getting a series on Disney+ — it's going to be accurately casted, written, and directed with Rick close by which I couldn't be more excited about!
I'll save my reservations about authors vs screenwriters because I know Disney will go big or go home with this and I'll get straight to it -
Are you guys excited?!? I know some people were looking forward to an animated series but I hope we can all agree this will be a huge step up from the movies (which weren't terrible as standalone films but just weren't accurate to the books).
AND NEXT UP -
I'm really not particularly motivated to continue writing this book but I did have a book up before called Walk of Wisdom which had the premise that the children of Athena — and really Athena herself — is wiped from the plane of existence, and only a select few remember life with them in it.
BUT it focuses majorly on my three OCs and Percy himself, even pairing Percy up momentarily with one of them because she reminds him of Annabeth blah blah blah. It's all about finding out where Athena went, how to bring her back, and — on Percy's end — getting the children (mainly Annabeth) back before everything goes to shit. It's made to be very long but I never finished it.
Would you guys be interested in me bringing that back? Do you have any suggestions for changes I can make to the plot or subplots?
